For what did they take these loans? According
to the survey: 50% of the public have taken
loans from the banks at least once, 32% from a
family member, 21% from credit card companies,
18% from external banking companies and 15%
from the gray market or friends.

A senior Israeli lawmaker suggested that Israel
may only adopt parts of President Donald
Trump’s Middle East peace plan, saying Israel
would not be obliged to back the establishment
of a Palestinian state, even if the US supports
such a move.

Several Christians with longer sentences remain
in prison despite the threat of contracting the
virus. They are serving 10-year sentences
handed down in June 2017 for charges of

requested furlough due to several coronavirus
cases within some of the wards of Evin Prison,
according to MEC, but it was denied.

Norway said Thursday that it will withhold half of
the year’s funding to the Palestinian Authority’s
education system until it stops using textbooks
that promote hate and violence.
Russia delivers advanced MiG-29 fighters to Assad
Syria’s SANA news agency reported on May 30
that a ceremony for the handover of “advanced
and modernized” MiG-29s took place at Russia’s
Khmeimim airbase in western Syria and would
start flying missions on June 1. The Assad regime
is expected to relieve the Russian air force pilots
of some of their minor operations.
Police pepper spray Hong Kongers defying ban
to mark Tiananmen
Police pepper-sprayed some Hong Kong protesters
on Thursday who defied a ban to stage candlelight
rallies in memory of China’s bloody 1989 Tiananmen
Square democracy crackdown, accusing Beijing of
stifling their freedoms too.

According to Bloomberg's analysis, Americans
should have received $214 billion in unemploy-
ment benefits in the last three months through
May. However, as of data published Monday,
the Treasury has dispersed only $146 billion for
the time period. That's more money paid to
unemployment benefits than during all of 2009,
following the financial crisis.
