Israeli Experts Warn: America Leaving
Middle East Could Pave Path for China
Takeover
According to strategic experts at the
University of Haifa, the Corona crisis
could accelerate US disengagement
from the Middle East as the government –
in an election year – decides to focus on
the country’s internal-economic and
medical problems. At the same time, the
vacuum could speed up China’s penetration
into the Middle East, which may harm
Israel’s strategic interests, especially
regarding its struggle against Iran.

Democracy Alliance helps set the Democratic
agenda and Vox has called it the "closest
thing that exists to a ‘left-wing conspiracy' in
the US." The two new groups appear to be
part of the $275 million anti-Trump strategy
its board approved in February of 2019.
Exclusive: CDC plans sweeping COVID-19
antibody study in 25 metropolitan areas
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) plans a nationwide study
of up to 325,000 people to track how the
new coronavirus is spreading across the
country into next year and beyond, a CDC
spokeswoman and researchers conducting
the effort told Reuters.
The six metropolitan areas being surveyed in
the precursor study are New York, Seattle,
the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles,
Boston and Minneapolis, said Dr. Graham
Simmons, another Vitalant researcher
involved in the project. “In all likelihood”
the next phase will add Miami, Atlanta,
New Orleans, Dallas, St. Louis, Chicago,
Denver and others, Simmons said.
