    Israel’s Most Crucial Election
What are these elections about? The results
of the upcoming Israeli elections will
determine whether or not it will be possible
to continue to keep the two-state solution a
viable option for the resolution of the Israeli-
Palestinian conflict. That makes these the
most crucial elections that Israel has ever
faced. That is also why it is so peculiar that
this subject doesn’t even seem to be within
    the public discourse.

Netanyahu sees ambassador to US, Mossad
    chief as possible successors

    Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently
said he sees the head of the Mossad intelligence
agency or Israel’s ambassador to the United
States as his prospective successor after he
bows out of political life, according to a report
    on Thursday.

Putin recruits Iran and Turkey to set up official
alliance as trio sideline Donald Trump

Putin and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani
will be welcomed in Ankara by Turkish leader
Tayyip Erdogan on September 11. It will mark
the second time this year that the trio has met to
discuss their involvement in Syria – but it is
thought that their cooperation could expand into
a strategic alliance for future geopolitical affairs.
The three nations have all stepped up their role in
the Syrian Civil War since 2017 after agreeing to
liaise – thereby sidelining the Trump administration.

    ‘German foreign minister ignoring lessons
    of Auschwitz,' supports Iran

    HEIKO MAAS

“With all due respect, it is time for the German
foreign minister to drop his assertion that it was
the lessons of Auschwitz that propelled him into
public life. He clearly has not applied any of the
lessons to the current situation. Instead of
weakening the tyrannical, genocidal regime in
Tehran, he is doing everything to strengthen Iran.
His instructions to the German UN ambassador
are not those of a friend of a Jewish state.”

Syrian government forces on Wednesday closed
in on a rebel-held town in Idlib that was bombed
with sarin in 2017, sources on both sides said,
building on their Russian-backed gains since
the collapse of a ceasefire this month. An
    investigation conducted by the United
Nations and the Organization for the
Prohibition of Chemical Weapons said the
    Syrian government was responsible for
releasing sarin on the town in 2017.
    Damascus denies using such weapons.

89 Percent of British Young Adults Say
Life Has No Meaning, Poll Finds

A new United Kingdom survey showing
    an overwhelming majority of 16-29-year-
olds believe life has no purpose or
meaning can be directly attributed to the
decline of Christianity in the country,
says the founder of Answers In Genesis.
The poll of 1,500 British people by Yakult
UK showed 89 percent of those ages 16-29
say life lacks purpose or meaning, compared
to 55 percent of those over 60 who answered
that way. The Sun newspaper was the first
media outlet to report the survey.

dialogue pledge, says it will never have talks

North Korea said on Friday it will never sit
down with South Korea for talks again,
rejecting a vow by the South’s President
Moon Jae-in to pursue dialogue with
Pyongyang made the previous day as he

China warns it could quell Hong Kong protesters

the weekend, even as China warned it could use
its power to quell demonstrations and U.S.
President Donald Trump urged his Chinese

protesters to defuse weeks of tensions.

    Google 'blacklisted' The Christian Post,
    whistle blower reveals

A former Google employee has gone public with
    claims of election manipulation, intimidation,
and political bias at the hands of the tech giant,
including the “blacklisting” of certain websites,
including The Christian Post. On Wednesday,
    investigative journalism group Project Veritas
released an interview in which whistle blower
Zachary Vorhies reveals he delivered roughly
950 pages of documents to the Department of
    Justice’s Antitrust division demonstrating that
Google manipulated its algorithms in a way
that biased its search engine against conservative
media, Christian media and nonprofit groups,
    and Republicans.
