Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah warned top
military commanders in a private meeting this week that
there will be a war with Israel this summer and that he
may not be around to support them, according to
Elijah J. Magnier, a writer for the Kuwaiti Al Rai news.
“I may not remain among you for very long; it is possible
that the entire first level of leadership could be killed,
including myself,” Nasrallah reportedly told the commanders.
“Measures and procedures have already been taken to be
ready even if this extreme case happens.”

UKRAINE ENTERS UNCHARTED WATERS after comedian
    wins presidency

Ukraine entered uncharted political waters on Monday after
near final results showed a comedian with no political experi-

IN COZYIG UP TO RUSSIA, Turkey's Erdogan is taking a
    huge gamble

The United States and Turkey are on a collision course,
and Turkey’s future as a member of the North Atlantic
Treaty Organization (NATO) is also on the line. The United
States is not alone in rejecting Turkey’s decision to buy the
Russian missiles; other NATO countries are also uneasy.
The Turkish decision appears to be a deliberate swipe at
both the United States and NATO, rise to speculation that
Turkey is set on warmer relations with Russia even at the
cost of jeopardizing its NATO membership.

    SAUDIA ARABIA and UAE
Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates said on Sunday
they had agreed to send Sudan $3 billion worth of aid,
throwing a lifeline to the country’s new military leaders after
protests led to the ousting of president Omar al-Bashir.

NORTH KOREA CONFIRMS LEADER KIM JONG UN to visit
    Russia for summit with Putin

With his Russia visit, North Korea’s Kim is seen working to
build up foreign support for his economic development plans,
since the breakdown of the second U.S.-North Korea summit
in Hanoi in February led to stalled talks with Washington on
the sanctions relief Pyongyang had sought. State media Korean
Central News Agency (KCNA) said the visit will happen “soon,”
but did not elaborate the time or the venue.
