    ISRAEL SIGNED OFF ON SALE of PHONE SPYING TOOL to Saudi Arabia

    Israel approved the sale of cyber-espionage technology from
    Herzliya-based NSO Group to Saudi Arabia in order to hack
    dissidents and enemies of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman,
    according to a report Friday citing former US officials.


    SYRIAN NEWS AGENCY REMOVES REPORT of Damascus air attack
    The state-run Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) issued a report on Sunday
    saying Syrian air defenses had intercepted enemy targets around Damascus
    international airport, but later in the day said the attack had not happened.
    “Our air defenses intercepted enemy aerial targets in the vicinity of Damascus
    international airport in southern Damascus,” SANA said in its initial report.
    The agency later removed the report from its website. Later still, it quoted a
    source at the Damascus international airport as saying “there was no attack on
    the airport and the air traffic is normal”.

    MOTION FILED to IMPEACH SOMALI PRESIDENT
    The top official of Somali’s parliament administration said on Sunday he had
    filed a motion with the speaker of parliament to impeach the country’s president,
    Mohamed Abdullahi, but the grounds for the move were unclear. Constitutionally,
    92 lawmakers have to sign a motion for it to be submitted to the speaker.
    Parliament may debate the motion a week later. Somalia’s parliament has 275
    lawmakers in total. A successful impeachment vote requires the backing of two
    thirds of all MPs.

    President Trump taunted French President Emmanuel Macron as France was burning
    in the wake of violent protests across the country on Saturday where an army of Yellow
    Vests demanded the president’s head. “Very sad day & night in Paris. Maybe it’s time
    to end the ridiculous and extremely expensive Paris Agreement and return money back
    to the people in the form of lower taxes?” Trump tweeted after tens of thousands of
    people across France went to the streets to protest Macron’s government.

    French President Emmanuel Macron will address the country on Monday as he seeks to
    placate “yellow vest” anti-government protesters who wreaked havoc in Paris this weekend.
