U.S. EXPECTS SOME ISRAELI CRITICISM of parts of
    coming Mideast plan

    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-i...-idUSKCN1LT3BC
In an interview with Reuters, Jason Greenblatt, a chief
architect of the long awaited peace initiative, said U.S.
negotiators had entered the prelaunch phase of the plan,
despite a boycott by Palestinian leaders. But he declined
to specify a time frame, except to say it would not be
announced at the U.N. General Assembly gathering in
New York later this month, or offer any details of a
proposal that has drawn deep skepticism even before its
    unveiling.

    THE PRICE OF ISRAELI WITHDRAWAL:
    Lessons from the Past

    https://besacenter.org/perspectives-...i-withdrawals/
Prominent politicians still advocate withdrawal from the West
Bank. A simple analysis of pertinent basic data that appears in
the Shin Bet terrorist summary for the year 2006 alone shows
that the idea of withdrawal, which would imply the cessation
of IDF activity in the area, could be misguided and dangerous.

    RUSSIA and CHINA MILITARY COOPERATION
    could worry Europe

    https://www.scmp.com/news/china/mili...d-worry-europe
Russian military exercises with China this week, though focused
on countering the United States, could raise security concerns
among European nations, which are now watching to see how
Beijing and Moscow might challenge other world powers, military
    experts have said.

EU MUST GRASP WORLD ROLE AS US RETREATS,
    Juncker Says

    https://www.algemeiner.com/2018/09/1...-juncker-says/
The European Union must flex its muscles as a world power, EU
chief executive Jean Claude Juncker said on Wednesday, as he
spoke critically of US President Donald Trump retreat from
international engagement. In his annual State of the Union
address to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, Juncker,
who is entering his final year as president of the European
Commission, urged EU states to rein in angry divisions over
budgets, immigration and other issues in order to capitalize
on a chance to shape the world.

ONE NATION UNDER XI? This is why Christian
    Persecution in China is Escalating

    http://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/20...-is-escalating
This summer, Christians in China are experiencing an escalating
wave of persecution unseen since Mao Cultural Revolution. We
are seeing more persecution or a higher level of persecution, said
The Voice of the Martyrs Radio host Todd Nettleton.

PAGAN ARCH to REAPPEAR as Washington Exhibit
    Centerpiece

    https://www.breakingisraelnews.com/1...t-centerpiece/
The reproduction of the Arch of Palmyra, a Roman victory
arch that stood as the entrance to a pagan temple for almost
2,000 years, will make an improbable appearance in
Washington D.C. and the International Criminal Court in
the Hague as a symbol of Peace and Resilience.

THE USAs THREE LEGGED STOOL OF ENERGY
    DOMINANCE

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidbl.../#659302d22b7a
The United States of America recently surpassed Russia
and Saudi Arabia to emerge as the top producer of crude
oil, according to new data released by the U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA). The USAs new status
could be short lived, as both its nearest competing nations
have ramped up production in recent weeks to fill a growing
void in Iranian production in the wake of reimposed U.S.
sanctions, but the fact that the U.S. arrived at that point at
    all is an extraordinary achievement.

18 million new cases of cancer globally this year and 9.6 million
