Binyamin Netanyahu warned Syrian ruler Bashar Assad via Moscow. This was reported Sunday
night, Nov. 26 by senior officials in Jerusalem. The Israeli message, in an effect an ultimatum,
notified the Syrian ruler that if he allowed Iran to establish bases in his country, Israel would
abandon its policy of nonintervention in the Syrian war, which it has upheld throughout the
entire six year conflict, and not hesitate to strike at the Syrian army and other targets buttressing
his regime in Damascus.
This is the first time Israel has ever sent an ultimatum to the Assad regime.

Israel, at least in this context, is looking to play its role as light to the nations by releasing a
fact based rebuttal of the notion that gender is a matter of personal feeling and choice.
In layman terms, a man is a man and a woman is a woman, not because they feel like one or
the other, but because the science of biology tells us so.
It is always stunning how proponents of the ultra liberal agenda will attack people of faith for
believing in God absent scientific proof but are more than willing to throw the science of
biology right out the window when it comes to the question of gender.

Dr. Haggai Ben Artzi, a Jewish history lecturer at Bar Ilan University writer and tour guide, congratulated
Tourism Minister Yariv Levin on changing the route of the Israel National Trail to include Jerusalem,
Judea, Samaria, and the Golan Heights.
The Israel National Trail is a hiking path, very popular with Israelis, that was inaugurated in 1995. The
trail crosses the entire country of Israel from Dan in the north to Eilat in the south.
It is unfortunate that it took fifty years, the years since the Six Day War, for the Israel Trail to return to the
main historical biblical heartland of the Land of Israel, after years of not entering the Golan, Old Jerusalem,
Judea, Samaria, and Hevron. It was a real failure, says Ben Artzi.

Tensions between North Korea and South Korea appear to be ratcheting up again just as a senior Russian
official is warning of an apocalyptic scenario developing on the Korean Peninsula.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov said Monday that the world could not ignore the crisis
surrounding North Korea and fears over the country suspected nuclear missile development, but that he
hoped a peaceful solution could be found.
A scenario of the apocalyptic development of the situation on the Korean Peninsula exists, and we cannot
turn our blind eye to it, Morgulov said at the opening of the eighth annual Asian Conference of the Valdai
discussion club in Seoul, according to the Russian state run news agency Tass.
I hope that a common sense, pragmatism and an instinct of self preservation would prevail among our
partners to exclude such negative scenario, the Russian diplomat said.

A Russian backed Congress of Syrian peoples in the Russian city of Sochi scheduled for November
has been postponed until February, Russian RIA news agency reported on Monday, citing a diplomatic
source. The event, called the Syrian Congress on National Dialogue, was postponed after some opposition
groups objected to President Vladimir Putin initiative.
DEBKAfile adds: This is a major setback for the peace strategy Putin is personally orchestrating for Syria.
Last week, he called a Russian Iranian Turkish summit in Sochi to set out the future steps for Syria, after
summoning Bashar Assad to Sochi to get him on board.
