    HOBBY LOBBY MUSEUM
Judaism is the star at a Bible museum built by Hobby Lobby

Kids can be Samson bringing down the walls at Courageous Pages, the play
area at the new Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC (Ron Kampeas)

Mowzes, God says in the mysterious midAtlantic accent that Hollywood once trained its actors to
use, the one Anne Baxter as Nefertiti used to summon Charlton Hestons Moses in the 1956 blockbuster
    The Ten Commandments. Mowzes, Mowzes.

That epic, earnest and seemingly endless film has much in common with the Museum of the Bible,
the $500 million extravaganza gifted to the National Mall by one of Americas leading evangelical
families, the founders of the Hobby Lobby chain.

The museum celebrates Jews and Judaism as the noble, beloved and even feared antecedents to
Christianity, and argues that its best modern expression is in the State of Israel. And it makes the
case that the Bible is not merely to be studied but to be believed.

Speaking at the dedication Friday, Steven Green, the president of Hobby Lobby and the museum
chairman of the board said museum goers should come away realizing that the Bible has had a
positive impact on their lives in so many different ways and when they leave they will be inspired
    to open it.

It especially celebrates the Bibles Jewish origins, notably those made manifest in modern Israel.
The dedication included a rabbi, Israels ambassador to the United States, the Israeli minister of
tourism and the director of the Israel Antiquities Authority.

to build, covers 430,000 square feet and is a few blocks from the U.S. Capitol. (AP Photo Jacquelyn Martin)

    LEBANON
Saad Hariri, Lebanon PM, to return to Beirut in coming days

    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-42034563

President Macron had offered to mediate in the crisis over Mr. Hariri resignation

Lebanese PM Saad Hariri has said he will return to Beirut in the coming days, and will then clarify
    his shock decision to resign.

He quit two weeks ago during a visit to Saudi Arabia, but President Michel Aoun refused to accept the
    resignation.

Mr. Hariri denied being held in Riyadh against his will, amid speculation the Saudis had forced him to
quit as part of a regional power struggle with Iran.

Mr. Hariri was speaking after meeting France president in Paris.

Mr. Hariri said: I will go to Beirut in the coming days. I will participate in the independence celebrations,
and it is there that I will make known my position on these subjects after meeting President Aoun.

    NORTH KOREA and CUBA
NEW COLD WAR? NORTH KOREA STRENGTHENS TIES WITH CUBA AFTER
    THREATENING NUCLEAR ATTACK ON U.S.

Pyongyang hopes to rekindle a Cold War era friendship.

Korean Central News Agency announced Friday that North Korea Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho
and his delegation will be traveling to Cuba, in hopes of revamping international support amid
sanctions and widespread condemnation of Pyongyangs nuclear missile tests.

The Washington Post reported that North Korea visit to Cuba occurs as Pyongyang largest
trading partners announced they would halt trade with the isolated nation. Singapore, North
Korea seventh largest trading partner, indicated it would sever its trade with the country
Thursday, while the Philippines, Pyongyang fifth largest trading partner, is following suit.

    PEACE PLAN AGAIN
EYEING DETAILED PEACE PLAN, TRUMP TEAM COULD INVEST YEARS IN EFFORT

    http://www.jpost.com/American-Politi...o-years-514554

White House peace team rejects deadlines as it prepares an architecture for serious negotiations.

Senior Trump administration officials are working tirelessly on an airtight diplomatic structure
that, once revealed, will demonstrate just how serious they are about negotiating a comprehensive
peace agreement between Israelis and Palestinians. But if you ask them, they are not working
    against a clock.

Deadlines are not a part of President Donald Trump peace effort, led by Jared Kushner, the
presidents son in law and senior adviser, and Jason Greenblatt, the US special representative \
for international negotiations. These two refuse to bind themselves in timetables as they
prepare what they describe as an architecture for their upcoming initiative.
