    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-41958199

Tens of thousands of people joined a nationalist march in Warsaw on Saturday, organised to coincide with Polands
    independence day.

Marchers chanted religious slogans such as God, honor, country and some called out racist chants including Pure
    Poland, white Poland.

An anti fascist counter protest attracted about 2,000 people.

Police estimated that 60,000 people took part in the main march.

It attracted far right agitators from elsewhere in Europe, including Tommy Robinson from the UK and Roberto Fiore from
    Italy.

Hundreds of thousands of Catalan independence supporters clogged one of Barcelona main avenues on Saturday to demand
the release of separatist leaders held in prison for their roles in the region banned drive to split from Spain.

Wearing yellow ribbons on their lapels to signify support, they filled the length of the Avenue Marina that runs from the
beach to Barcelona iconic Sagrada Familia church, while the jailed leaders families made speeches.

Catalonias two main grassroots independence groups called the march, under the slogan Freedom for the political prisoners,
after their leaders were remanded in custody on charges of sedition last month.

A Houston federal judge has given FEMA three weeks to decide if its going to change its policy of denying disaster relief
to religious institutions, rejecting FEMAs attempt to delay a challenge by three Texas churches.

Since the devastation by Hurricane Harvey in late August, FEMA has denied houses of worship access to federal disaster
aid grants due to their religious status while allowing other nonprofits and businesses to apply, but Judge Keith Ellison has
given the agency until Dec. 1 to change that policy.

Police in the US state of Delaware are poised to deploy smart cameras in cruisers to help authorities detect a vehicle carrying
a fugitive, missing child or straying senior.

The video feeds will be analyzed using artificial intelligence to identify vehicles by license plate or other features and
give an extra set of eyes to officers on patrol, says David Hinojosa of Coban Technologies, the company providing the
    equipment.

We are helping officers keep their focus on their jobs, said Hinojosa, who touts the new technology as a dashcam on steroids.

The program is part of a growing trend to use vision based AI to thwart crime and improve public safety, a trend which has
stirred concerns among privacy and civil liberties activists who fear the technology could lead to secret profiling and misuse
    of data.
