    PA BACK TO ONE STATE?
Abbas: PA could move to back one state solution if two states fail

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/abbas-...o-states-fail/

If the two state solution fails, Palestinians will back a one state solution to the Israeli Palestinian
conflict, with full rights for all citizens, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said Saturday.

In a pre recorded speech broadcast on large screens in Gaza City as tens of thousands gathered to mark
the death of PLO leader Yasser Arafat, Abbas, who has not visited Gaza since his allies were thrown out
by Hamas in 2007, hailed his predecessor legacy.

Abbas said the Palestinians were pushing ahead to seal reconciliation and to achieve Arafats dream
for freedom, sovereignty and independence on our Palestinian national soil.

There is no state in Gaza and there is no state without Gaza, he said, stressing that the Palestinian
people were united and refuse divisions.

    FLOW of JIHADIS into EGYPT
Sisi: Islamic State Collapse in Syria, Iraq Could Cause Flow of Jihadis into Egypt
    http://www.breitbart.com/national-se...ate-militants/

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah alSisi has expressed fear that Islamic State terrorists will flee to
Egypt as the caliphate continues to crumble at the hands of the U.S. led coalition in Syria and Iraq.

Speaking at a youth conference in the Egyptian resort of Sharm elSheikh, Sisi said that Egypt was in
need of military equipment to prevent an influx of militants from unstable neighboring countries such
as Libya, widely touted as a launchpad for the Islamic State resurgence following the groups territorial
losses in both Raqqa and Mosul.

As the elimination of terrorists progresses in Syria and Iraq, those elements will move and resort to
other regions with poor security conditions, Sisi said. There are already extremist militias moving
    into neighboring countries and Europe.

China shopping festival smashes record with $25 billion haul

    1. Why is it called Singles Day?

When Nov. 11 is written numerically as 11/11, the four number one evoke bare branches, the Chinese
expression for the unattached. On Chinese university campuses in the 1990s, 11/11 evolved into a
student celebration of being single in a culture that emphasizes relationships, an antidote to Valentines
Day. The country rising middle class turned that into a phenomenon.

    2. Why does Singles Day revolve around shopping?

Credit Alibaba billionaire founder, Jack Ma. As he began building the company, he latched onto the
idea of making a shopping promotion around a holiday. He chose Nov. 11 starting in 2009. Early on,
Alibaba marketing encouraged consumers to treat themselves in celebration of being single. But the
day has never been limited to the lonesome, and it targets every demographic.

    3. Is this exclusively an Alibaba event?

Though Alibaba was the first to link Singles Day to shopping, plenty of rivals have joined in.

Alibaba, the Chinese ecommerce giant, said on Saturday its Singles Day sales extravaganza hit $25.4
billion, smashing its own record from last year and cementing it as the worlds biggest shopping event.

The event gets shoppers around China scouting for bargains and loading up their online shopping carts,
while delivery men, and robots, brace for an estimated 1.5 billion parcels expected over the next six days.

This is a big event for China, for the Chinese economy, Joseph Tsai, Alibaba cofounder and vice
chairman, said. On Singles Day, shopping is a sport, it is entertainment.

Tsai said rising disposable incomes of China over 300 million middle class consumers was helping
drive the company online sales, and would continue. This powerful group is propelling the consumption
    of China, he said.

    FORMER FACEBOOK PRESIDENT
Former Facebook president Sean Parker: God only knows what it is doing to the childrens brains

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technolog...ldrens-brains/

Facebook has been attacked by one of its founding members for exploiting a vulnerability in human
psychology and putting childrens mental health at risk.

Sean Parker, the former president of Facebook who joined Mark Zuckerberg company in its first months,
said the company founders intentionally built the site to consume as much human attention as possible.

Parker, who has made billions as an early shareholder in the social network, also criticised Facebooks
effect on children. It literally changes your relationship with society, with each other, he told newsite
Axios. It probably interferes with productivity in weird ways. God only knows what it is doing to
    the childrens brains.

Sunday marks the day that humanity takes one step closer to the science fiction realm with space lasers.
An American aerospace firm is aiming to create 200 megabits per second (Mbps) connections in space
    using satellites equipped with lasers.

If successful, this new tech could pave the way for networks of satellite connected devices to send data,
which will be useful for military, tech, and meteorological agencies, to and from space via laser
connections. The launch of the new satellites is scheduled for 7 14am ET on Sunday from Wallops
    Flight Facility in Virginia.
