The Unholy Alliance Between Rev. Moon and Christian Clergy Central United Community Church stands on Chicago's South Side as a storefront sanctuary, serving the needy and spiritually hungry who pass through its doors. The modest church has worn wooden pews and a fiery pastor preaching from a pulpit, but missing is Christianity's most powerful symbol: the cross. http://www.ajc.com/living/content/li...22SLJESUS.html

MTV-style youth ministry is over - teens making way for Bible-based worship Youth ministers have been on a long and frustrating quest of their own over the past two decades or so. Believing that a message wrapped in pop-culture packaging was the way to attract teens to their flocks, pastors watered down the religious content and boosted the entertainment. But in recent years churches have begun offering their young people a style of religious instruction grounded in Bible study and teachings about the doctrines of their denomination. Their conversion has been sparked by the recognition that sugarcoated Christianity, popular in the 1980s and early '90s, has caused growing numbers of kids to turn away not just from attending youth-fellowship activities but also from practicing their faith at all. In a national survey recently released by Barna Group, a polling firm that tracks religious trends, only 33% of kids 13 to 18 responded that they attend a youth-group event regularly--a 3% drop since 1998. And while nearly 75% pray each week, that number has declined 9%. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/ar...2027-1,00.html

Do UFOs Exist In The History Of Arts?
Since the beginning of man, humans have always felt a need to reproduce celestial events, first on the wall of caves, and then on canvas. It is not a case that sometimes History, Arts, Archaeology and Anthropology have been often rewritten on occasion in light of new elements whose existence no one had previously suspected.

Spiritualists Offer New Age Meaning Behind 'Spirit Numbers?'
Notice the date, November 11th, eleven - eleven. For many people a day with this date has a very special or mystical meaning not only in this world but beyond. A phenomenon believers call spirit numbers. For example, when a clock flashes eleven-eleven just when checked, is that strange? A bit odd? or Maybe just a coincidence? Some say it’s not at all.

New Generation of Adults Bends Moral and Sexual Rules to Their Liking
Perhaps no moral dimension has changed as much as Americans’ perspectives and behaviors related to sexuality. Among the 32 factors examined in the research, eight of them related to such topics as extramarital sex, pornography, homosexuality, and sexual fantasies. Cattle Mutilations Continue In Recurring Mystery
The cow's udder, genitals and rectum were cut out with stunning precision. The left side of her face was carved off, the exposed bones stripped as clean as if they'd been boiled. Peterson, who discovered a similarly mutilated cow on his neighbor's ranch five years ago, knew he was the latest victim in one of rural Montana's greatest mysteries.

Did An Angel Appear Over The State Fair?
The South Carolina State Fair experience can be described in many ways, but you probably won't hear it called 'heavenly.' That is, unless you're talking to one Columbia family who recently showed off their "sign from above." "It looks just like an angel," Catherine says. "It even has a ray of light that comes from the bottom toward the body of the angel and it's centered right in the middle of the picture - and I believe in angels. It's just an angel."

          Plan To Create Human-Cow Embryos
UK scientists have applied for permission to create embryos by fusing human DNA with cow eggs. The hybrid human-bovine embryos would be used for stem cell research, but critics say it is unethical and potentially dangerous. Liberal Democrat MP Dr Evan Harris - a member of the Commons Science and Technology Select Committee - argues: "If human benefit can be derived by perfecting therapeutic cloning techniques or from research into subsequently-derived stem cells, then it would actually be immoral to prevent it just because of a 'yuck' factor."
