Prayer needed regarding a mission opportunity

I'd like the faithful prayer warriors of wedg to please join with me in prayer.

I just read an invitation that was sent out asking for someone to go to Uganda to help do some leadership training. When I read the invitation there was an immediate desire in my heart to go. I need to know if God placed that desire in my heart. I replied to the email and it's up to the person who sent the email whether I have the skills he needs. If he replies and says he would like to talk with me about it, there are many obstacles to be overcome since the trip is very soon. I'd like the whole process surrounded by prayer. Thank you so much for joining with me in bringing it before God.

Step 1 : I replied to the person who sent out the invitation and he wants to meet and discuss details. I may very well lack the skills and experience required and that will be discovered soon enough. However, for now the possibliity is still alive.

What a wonderful opportunity for you!

As you say, depending upon skills, etc., it might make a difference. Also, as you have immediate family members, they may be looking for singles or retired people. Not to put a damper on you; just being realistic.

May God let you know soon what to do. He probably loves your willing spirit!
