Urgent: Prayer needed PLEASE!!

Dear Saints,

I just got a frantic call from my niece. She took my sister and her 2 children to Beaumont to get away from Rita. My niece's husband stayed behind and let them go alone.

This morning the news has reported that Rita's path has turned more toward Galveston which will put the NE quadrant, which is the bad part of the storm over Beaumont, TX which is where she took her mom, my sister. Beaumont is in Jefferson County and they are calling for evacuation of this county.

They are now having to leave and go North.

My sister is on oxygen 24/7, she has COPD, and not in very good health. This evacuation is really taking it toll on her. My niece said just packing and traveling yesterday really affected my sister.

Please pray that they will be able to travel, find gas and get far enough North to have electricity to enable my sister to have her much needed oxygen.

I have to tell my mom, but not sure yet when or how to tell her. Please pray that it will not affect her as she too is not in good health.

Father God,
We come to you this morning to ask that this hurricane would be lightened, if it is Your will. If it is not, please Lord protect those that seek your shelter. Father I pray for Dove's sister. That as she travels with her family that their needs will be met. That You will hold them and her through this whole process. We ask that You would make this transition as easy as possible for them.

In Jesus' precious name... Amen

UPDATE: Rita aftermath and Praise the LORD!!

Thank you all so very much for your prayers (((((HUGS))))))

Spoke to a cousin and nephew today. They both said my sister and niece were going to Lufkin yesterday to meet my niece's husband and then on to Shreveport. I hope they went further north.

My mom and I and my children are all just fine. We still have all our utilities, Praise the Lord.
