Long story short, I have a friend whom I've known for 35 years. Over that time, we've had our share of ups and downs. We were separated for 10 years and didn't speak because of her total lack of support for me during what was the worst time of my life. She found the Lord, she wrote me and asked for forgiveness. Ok, things have been good for 7 years. Now, she is so focused on the material things of life, and her success, that she is making what are, imho, poor choices regarding her relationship with me and trying to be very controling. We haven't spoken for a week, when we used to speak daily. I just wrote her an e-mail in response to on she sent me a week ago that I just now found in my over burdened in-box. Whether or not we resume our friendship, I pray that she will get her priorities straight and put the Lord first in all things. Please pray for Linda. She is a sweet soul.
