Another Prayer for a Friend

One of the very dear senior saints at the nursing home where I work had a stroke Friday night and is very very ill. She is a very strong Christian lady, and we have had many wonderful conversations.

She is now paralyzed except for her hands. I dare not pray that God would "let her live" because I know that she is ready and probably even eager to go Home. But I'll sure miss her.

Please pray for Gladys. 88 years old. A wonderful person.

Thanks, everyone...

I heard today that they have now stopped all of Gladys' supportive measures - as was her specific instruction in a case such as this. I'll be over there tomorrow and see how she's doing.

She would have liked to have had an opportunity to vote in the Fall, though, I can tell you - She definitely had an opinion about who she would vote for!
