Re: Need Prayer for reconciliation between My Daughters

    Thank-you Tennken, Faith, and Everyone,
The Holy Spirit is definitely at work. Today, my oldest daughter came over and apologized to the youngest. Sadly, the youngest behaved in an unreceptive manner. I am thankful that the older daughter had the courage to step forward and risk rejection, but I would ask if you are able could you please pray that the youngest will begin to soften and understand forgiveness. There is definitely a stronghold in her life with regard to unforgiveness.

I am feeling much better than a few days ago. Your prayers have made all the difference.

Thank-you All so much for your prayer support. My husband's 50th birthday party is on Saturday, and if you feel led to bring us before the Lord, for peace, harmony, healing of hearts, I would be so grateful. I belive that God is doing a special work this weekend, and I could sure use the backing of the prayer warriors here.

        God bless All of you,
        Maranatha,
        Helen

Praying for you, Helene, and your situation.

Praying for reconciliation and forgiveness between the 2 girls. I have 2 daughters, too, and can relate.

I will be praying on Saturday that your husband will have a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing birthday party.

Re: Need Prayer for reconciliation between My Daughters

              Thank-you too, JudyAnn.

I have to tell All of you how much I appreciate you... We had an amazing day yesterday. I was so stressed out earlier in the day just trying to get the food and all the details organized, but by the time the party started everything had come together. The evening flowed perfectly. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. My youngest daughter actually went to her sister and decided to reconcile, though I imagine it will take time for respect to be earned in both directions.

Additionally, I made special effort to invite my mother-in law, with whom I've had a seven year rift. (long story on that one) She came and I embraced her. Though we didn't really have a chance to talk alot, I think it was fine that way and we had a warm embrace before she left.

The Lord had plans for this party to go ahead, and I am so grateful for the healing that is coming as a result of it.

I just want to be obedient to the Lord and live at peace with all men/women as much as lies within me.

So thank-you for your prayers. I am convinced it was a powerful support for us.

God bless all of you, and may your needs be met as well.

              Maranatha,
              Helen

                      OH Helen:

I wish I had known all that was going on. I could have been fasting and I could have lent a hand to help out. I just saw this thread right now. I will keep your family in prayer which I do anyway but perhaps more fasting is in order. I was away in Victoria this wkend too so I didnt even see you at church. Hang in there. Dont be afraid to call or lean on me. We are a network and sisterhood in the LORD.

Re: Need Prayer for reconciliation between My Daughters

Thank-you Wendy and All. Wendy, I am grateful for all of the prayers and fasting that you have done on our behalf. My faith is being increased so much lately by seeing how God is answering prayer.

Just to give all of you an update, a couple of days ago, I was able to have my oldest daughter and her boyfriend, as well as my youngest daughter all sit down and eat supper at the same table with me. My husband had to work late, or the whole family would have been there. Some words of apology had been spoken both ways about a week previous, even if not entirely sincere, but God has worked nevertheless.

You have to know that some extremely harsh words were exchanged between the two girls in the last couple of months, extremely harsh... and the youngest daughter despises her sister's boyfriend. I know my girls, and believe me when I say that it is truly a miracle that they were willing to eat together and have light conversation.

God is working in a mighty way, and I am so grateful for the way all of you have played a part in their reconciliation process...

By the way, my oldest daughter is heavily feeling the conviction of the Holy Spirit upon her life right now and knows time is short. She's been watching Steve Hadley teach on the blood moons, and is beginning to hear the Lord calling her back into fellowship with Himself. If you have a minute, send up a prayer for her to let down her defenses and surrender to His call. For her sister too, please.

                            Thank-you all and God bless,
                            Helen

Re: Need Prayer for reconciliation between My Daughters

                                Helen:

I believe that God is moving in our families. God taught me last week through prayer and a word in season:

Heb11:6 We must come to God in prayer and realize He "is" --yes He is "I AM", He is the Most High God who is Almighty and ever present Emanuel--think on all the things God can do --He longs to show Himself strong to those who love Him--also from that verse--He rewards those who diligently seek HIm. .. Keep seeking him in prayer he will answer if we faint not--remember Daniel had to pray through the powers in the heavenlies who opposed him. There is a struggle in the heavenlies for our families, Satan hates kids. He hates marriage and exalts himself against the knowledge of God.

                                Acts 16:31, IISam7:29, Ps 103:17-18, IITim 1:12--also
As for me and my house we will serve the LORD.

I give these verses as a gift to minister to you --keep praying Helen and you have sisters in the LORD who love you and who will hold your hands up like Moses had when he was weary.

Remember that God inhabits the praise of His people--we can't understand the love of God --how vast how deep how high . In sorrow and defeat and in the midst of battle we will praise Him because it shows that we submit to His care and His plan and is a testimony to those who witness in the heavenlies both evil and good.

Dont get weary in doing well --in due season you will reap if you faint not.

Keep up the fight. We won!
