Ya'll, my sisters and brothers in Christ are so very special to me. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement.

Just wanted to let you all know that I am healing nicely from the surgery 4 weeks and 2 days ago. I am going to the surgeon for a check-up tomorrow. Now days they use this new Dermabond to close incisions. It is great (I call it super glue). No stitches or staple to remove. The body heals faster and there is much, much less pain using Dermabond.

I am back driving and today I did all my wash (clothes). ping: I washed my towels and sheets last week so I would not have it to do all at one time.

I just have to give Glory, Praise and Honor to the Lord for my attitude and peace of mind and body.

Different family members cannot understand how I am so positive and smiling and when I tell them how I trust in the Lord and have placed it all in His hands and I am not afraid, they sort of disbelieve me and start talking as though something is wrong with me and I am not thinking straight (of course these family members are not Believers who have a relationship with Jesus) so I understand where they are coming from, I just keep telling them about my trust in my Lord and Saviour and how Jesus is walking though this valley with me.

Time is short and Jesus will be coming soon for His Bride. I will talk about Salvation through Jesus Christ to any and all who will listen to me. I pray that the Lord will use me to plant seeds so that the Holy Spirit can convict and bring in the harvest. ping:

Hi Gail,

It is breast cancer. I had a mastectomy on April 8th. There is a nodule in the thyroid they want to biopsy. My family also has a history of goiters in the thyroid. So I won't know what it is till they biopsy it.

I put it off till after the 1st of June, because I have to pack so I can move the 31st of May.

I had a 30 day window to get the biopsy done as I don't go back to the Oncologist until June 23.

Dove, you are amazing. While I've prayed for you during your surgery, house situation, etc. somehow it got past me that you have cancer. Your Light is shining all the way to Fla. dear sister! You are in my prayers daily, that He will comfort you, strengthen you and heal you. That He will bless you and keep you and hold you in the palm of His wonderful nail scarred hand.

I went to my surgeon on Friday morning and he said I don't need to return as the incision is healing very nicely.

I also went had labs drawn for the Oncologist as ordered. This will be his base in my labs. I will also have another lab drawn around June 18 right before my next appointment on June 23.

A Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers on the board and may God Bless you and yours abundantly.
