    Karen Bankruptcy Payoff

    We are going down to the Bankruptcy court to pay off Karen's bankruptcy today. ping:
    Please pray there will be no hitches, nothing to stop us, just the ability to go in and write the check (or get a cashiers check) and pay it off...TODAY.
    I'm always worrying that someone will say "oh we can't do it all today it takes this time or that time."
    I want to be able to walk in, hand them a check, get a receipt, and put that behind her.
    Thanks for your prayers in this matter.
    When we come back from this I will let you know.

    Greg, Praying that all will go well and that this will be behind you both. Spring is coming and soon it will be a fading memory.

      We went to the bank, got the cashiers check, and paid it off. ping:
      Now she will receive an order in the mail next week, showing the case is closed.
      Then she will get the title to her car in the mail soon afterwards.
      We have the receipt for the cashiers check, and the request to close out the case, for the same amount.
      That will serve as the receipt until the order comes in.
      The payment was posted today, and we are through with it for good!
      Thanks for the prayers.
      She did this 11 months ahead of schedule.

        This is such good news for you two!

        It's very sad that medical issues can do this to folks.

          It is Issachar, but she's through with it.
          No more CC bills, car notes, anything.
          They were using the Neon as collateral.
          Boy were they desperate!
          Now she has a clean slate, and thousands of dollars to boot I might add.
          And I'm going to make sure it stays that way.
