Please pray for my children and me. The enemy is trying to tear them down. They are still missing their dad. We were such a tight, close family and their dad was a very big influence in their lives. Very much involved and loving. It is difficult for me to fill both rolls. Please pray that they look to God for their support and strength and please pray that HE will give me wisdom to help them get there. This is a very hard time for all of us...... all of us.....

I pray for a peace that passes understanding - for God's Hand to guide them and you as you walk without your earthly husband/father. I pray they will have comfort and assurance, and that they will be strengthened.
sometimes it just takes time - this is a life changing event. but the Lord assures us that He is in control of our destinies and cares very much for our griefs. I pray that the Lord will bring you and your children closer to Him and that you will know the joy of His presence and care for you.
I pray the enemy will not be allowed to come in and plant seeds of doubt or bitterness, but that he will be kept from you and your children.

You aren't supposed to try to be both Mom and Dad, dear one. Do you have a godly male family member or friend that would be willing to spend some time with your kids and sort of fill in for their Dad? Or perhaps someone from your church? Praying for God's complete and perfect will to be done in your family.

Thankyou everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate all of you. God has heard our prayers and as always HE already knew what we needed before we asked. Praise the Lord. I know my children and I will be fine as God takes care of us daily. sojourner52, you are so right. He is definitely a father to the fatherless and a husband to the widow.
