(IsraelNN.com) Israel Air Force planes Tuesday night dropped thousands of notices over Beirut mocking Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah. "Where are you hiding?" asked the flyers.

Earlier in the day, the IAF again bombed Nasrallah's Beirut home. He has been staying underground for more than a week.

IDF says Hezbollah smuggling weapons from Syria
        http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/739918.html

Israel Defense Forces said Tuesday that Hezbollah was smuggling weapons
from Syria but added it did not regard Syria as a target for attack.

"In the last few days, the smuggling of weapons from Syria to Lebanon has continued," Major-General Gadi Eizenkot of the Israeli army command told a news conference. "We don't see Syria or the Lebanese army as a target but at the same time we see the smuggling of weapons from Syria to Lebanon to be used in attacks against Israeli civilians."

              Huge explosions rock Beirut

              http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/...ast/index.html

BEIRUT, Lebanon (CNN) -- Israeli airstrikes pounded the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital near the airport early Wednesday, lighting up the night with explosions.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties from the latest airstrikes, but at least a dozen people were killed in Israel and Lebanon on Tuesday.

Eleven Lebanese soldiers died in an Israeli airstrike on an army barracks, and one Israeli was killed by Hezbollah rockets fired into northern Israel, sources said.

Israel launched an extensive bombing campaign against the militant Islamist group after it abducted two Israeli soldiers and killed three others in a raid into northern Israel last Wednesday. Since Thursday, Hezbollah has fired 750 rockets into Israel, the Israel Defense Forces said.

The death toll in northern Israel stands at 25, including 13 civilians. Lebanese internal security forces said 183 people have been killed and 456 wounded in the country since the start of hostilities. There was no breakdown between civilians and military personnel.

I had to go out for a while, VERY hard to be away from here....

When I was out though, I caught on CNN that they believe these were "bunker buster's" that were dropped. The US sold Israel 500 of them, remember? And Israel dropped leaflets earlier looking for Nasrallah....saying "where are you?" hmmmm

Condoleezza Rice expected to arrive in Israel on Sunday

By Shmuel Rosner, Haaretz Correspondent and News Agencies

WASHINGTON - The tentative date for U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's visit to the region is this Sunday, sources in Washington said on Tuesday.

However, they added, her departure could be delayed if the situation warrants it. The Bush administration is apparently sticking to its decision to allow Israel to complete its military operation before the international community imposes a cease-fire, and Danny Ayalon, Israel's ambassador to the United States, told the media on Monday that the time is not yet ripe for Rice's visit.

Meanwhile, Israel's United Nation's envoy Danny Gillerman on Tuesday said Rice was expected to arrive in the region on Friday.

Rice, whose intent to come sometime soon was confirmed by the State Department on Monday, will visit both Beirut and Jerusalem.

She also plans to meet - in a four-way summit - with the foreign ministers of the Arab states that oppose Hezbollah's attacks on Israel, primarily Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The venue for that four-way summit is not definite, but may be Cairo.

Under growing international pressure to step up U.S. diplomatic efforts, Rice has said there should be a cease-fire in the Middle East "as soon as possible when conditions are conducive to do so."

The deadline of a week that Bush gave Israel is a joke. No way they will stop dismantling Hezbollah while the terrorists continue to lob rockets into Israel. Next week, Israel may prove to be the burdensome stone among the nations, even unto the United States.
