Six hurt as rockets land in Tiberias, 35 km from Lebanon
By Yuval Azoulay, Amos Harel and Yoav Stern, Haaretz Correspondents, Haaretz Service and Agencies
Three Katyusha rockets landed in Tiberias, located 35 kilometers from the Lebanese border, on Saturday. A residential building suffered a direct hit, sustaining damage. The owners of the residence were abroad.
Two rockets landed adjacent to a stadium in Tiberias and near the town's Club Hotel. Six people were lightly injured from rocket shrapnel.
Authorities have asked that bathers on the coast of the Sea of Galilee evacuate the area for fear of further Katyusha attacks.
Additional rockets landed near Tiberias - in Kfar Hitim, Evron, and Abu Snan. One person suffered from shock.
Rockets also landed Carmiel, Hatzor Haglilit, Peki'in, Safed, Nahariya, and Moshav Ben-Ami, in the western Galilee.
Two rockets hit empty homes Carmeil and Safed. Another landed adjacent to Carmiel College, causing a brushfire.
Saturday's rocket strikes came one day after a woman and her 5-year-old grandson were killed and four others were injured when a Katyusha rocket slammed into a home in Moshav Meron.
Early Saturday, dozens of rockets were launched, landing in Nahariya, Safed, Moshav Meron and the northern Golan Heights, causing no casualties or damage.
Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Dan Halutz said Friday that Hezbollah has rockets with a range of up to 70 kilometers (43.5 miles) or more, an admission that brings more major cities within their range, including possibly Hadera and Netanya. This would mean that Hezbollah has rockets that could reach within 20 to 30 kilometers of Tel Aviv.

Israel VS Hamas, Syria and Iran and let's not forget Russia as prophesized in Eziekel. Also Israel VS Hezbollah, the Fatah evil org and everyone else who want's to jump onto the hate Israel wagon and remember, this is all in the flesh of things.
Now in the Spirit of things, it's God on behalf of Israel VS Hamas, Syria and Iran and Hezbollah and all the evil of this world that would seek to hurt his people without cause. And if God be for you, who can be against you???
God Bless

And don't forget, Israel actually pulled the US through during the Iraq war, our own weaponry was running down. After that, the US then sold 500? Bunker Busters to Israel. I am sure they are well stocked and would pull out "Big boys" to deter a drawn out war, rather than have an on going battle, like what happened with Japan.
Now regarding my "Iran" comments, I have not found a link about Iran Revolutionary Guards being in Iran, but remembr Hezbollah IS who WAS the Iran National Guard unti the were sent to Lebanon in the 80's, so the fact some of their compatriots would be in Lebanon shouldn't surprise, that is who trains the Hezbollah militia and since their arms are from Iran and get to them via Damascus, why be surprised the rocket was made in Iran??? Posted a "Factfile" on Hezbollah somewhere, taken from AlJazerra and they BOASTof their ties to Iran. It is no secret.

I've been thinking about the amount ammo/weapons being used up on puppets. I realize the puppets may also be using up their supplies but certainly not at the rate Israel has been.
How quickly can Israel replemish.
I guess what I'm asking is this. Is it possible the puppets are depleting Israel for their real enemies? Could this be their plan?
No doubt Israel's stockpiles of war materials is highly classifed -
....however given their history of defensive wars, and the fact that 99% of all able-bodied Israeli's are trained and part of massive reserves that could be called up their ability to fight a sustained war against the Arabs has to be considerable.
Likewise in past conflicts when reserves of ammo reached critical levels the US airlifted in plane-loads of ammo, bombs, etc - and the current US policy of standing by Israel would be no less - if and when needed.
Keep in mind that Israel receives more "foreign aid" from the US each year than any other nation on earth - and the vast majority of that funding is used in the form of military equipment and supplies that are drawn from US stock-piles - or from US military contractors.

In my mind's eye, (considering these leaders who are NOT Christian and do NOT follow the prophetic authors in our Bible like we do)---put yourself in their shoes for a minute and try to look at this situation from their heads like they would.....
Don't you think they are saying inside themselves....OH BOY, WE GET A CHANCE TO FINALLY TAKE THIS ISRAEL PLACE AND THE JEWS OFF THE MAP, WE BETTER GO FOR IT NOW WHILE THE DOOR IS OPEN !!
That's what I see...

Palestinians: Shin Bet chief Diskin met with Abbas in Amman
By Avi Issacharoff, Haaretz Correspondent
Palestinian sources told Haaretz on Friday that Shin Bet security service chief Yuval Diskin met secretly with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas this week in Amman. The meeting was held after Jordan's King Abdullah II sent Diskin an urgent request to visit the Jordanian capital. (See the "sources are telling secrets again)
Diskin and Abbas discussed at the meeting the fate of Corporal Gilad Shalit, who was abducted by Palestinian militants nearly three weeks ago. They also discussed the latest developments in the violent clashes in the Gaza Strip.
The sources also told Haaretz that Diskin told Abbas that Palestinian prisoners would only be released in negotiations with the PA. The Israeli official told Abbas no talks with Hamas would yield such results.
King Abdullah is scheduled to meet Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak Friday in Cairo to coordinate their positions on recent developments in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
On Thursday Abdullah spoke on the phone to Abbas and Mubarak in relation to these issues. The king also met Thursday with Lebanese parliament member Sa'ad a-Din al-Hariri, who was visiting Aqaba.
London-based Arabic-language newspaper Al Quds al Arabi reports that Egypt deported Hamas political wing member Mohammed Nazal who visited the country. Nazal met with Egyptian Intelligence Chief Omar Suleiman, and had planned several other meetings and press conferences.
Security agents came to his hotel and escorted him to the airport ensuring his departure from the country.

Israel bombs Hamas offices
Fri Jul 14, 2006 4:45am ET
By Nidal al-Mughrabi
GAZA (Reuters) - Israel bombed the offices of Hamas lawmakers, destroyed a bridge and fired a tank shell that killed one Palestinian on Friday as part of a Gaza Strip offensive aimed at forcing militants to release a captured soldier.
Israeli forces withdrew overnight from central Gaza after two days of fighting, and an army statement said the troops had "currently completed their activities in the area".
The Gaza Strip is ringed by Israeli tanks and troops. A contingent remains in the southern tip of Gaza, which troops entered on June 28 to try to force militants to free Corporal Gilad Shalit and to halt their cross-border rocket fire.
Israel has killed more than 80 Palestinians as part of the offensive.

I looked at the aerial but could not see anything military. The photo is not from yesterday obviously and they may have chosen to photo it before the cow came home. A quick look at the harbor is possible though using Google Earth. Just type in "Tartus, Syria" and it do the work for ya.

I wrote this in a paper for school last year, but perhaps this is why Russia has such a concern with Syria:

Russia to Establish Naval Base in Syrian Port of Tartus — Paper
Russia has begun works in the Syrian port of Tartus seeking to built a full-scale naval base for the ships of the Black Sea Fleet, currently based in Ukraine’s Sevastopol, the Kommersant newspaper reported on Friday, quoting unnamed sources in the Defense Ministry and the General Staff of the Russian Navy.

I saw an interview with the Syrian ambassador to the U.N. eariler on
CNN, he was explaining how that Israel had been the cause of every
mideast conflict for 60 years. I really had to fight my gag reflex
listening to him. He said he expects his nation to be attacked.
I too saw this ambassador on CNN and later on MSNBC. He basically said the same thing he said on CNN. I too had to fight my gag reflex. Every word from his mouth was nothing more than sickening propaganda
