The package was addressed to the Deputy Prime Minister, Nasser Shaer. Shaer is deputy to Ismail Hanniya and one of the only senior Hamas officials in Judea and Samaria that Israel did not arrest. (Ali Waked)

I think the wording to the article changed since the original post. This Shaer guy was the only senior official NOT arrested by Israel.

Bomber With Explosive Belt Apprehended Near Shechem
    04:41 Aug 06, '06 / 12 Av 5766

(IsraelNN.com) A would-be suicide bomber with a bomb belt was apprehended during the night near Shechem.

Soldiers were acting on intelligence information. Troops were moved to heightened alert on Saturday night, seeking to prevent a terror attack in the Sharon area. Checkpoints were set up in the Kfar Saba, Rosh HaAyin and Petach Tikvah areas.

When the bomber realized soldiers would detect the device at a nearby checkpoint, he tossed the bomb belt out of a taxi window

And "Mr. Israel Has A Partner To Negotiate With"....his home and offices are there in Ramallah. IF he wanted to even FAKE himself as a "partner for peace" he would at least not have had the protest in Ramallah. The world is SO blind.

They always say, "On to Jerusalem"....well I wish the muslim world would pick up their white, black, red and green flags and march to Jerusalem, the whole lot of them at once! (I have the perfect pic for this but STILL can't figure out how to post an image, if my pics are in my files as jpg, art, bmp...there is no http: address to put into the box?)
