Lebanon Calls for Cease Fire

(IsraelNN.com) A Lebanese government official Thursday called for a "comprehensive cease fire...to end...this open-ended aggression." Information Minister Ghazi al-Aridi spoke to reporters after an emergency meeting of the Lebanese cabinet.

Social Affairs Minister Mila Mawad added that the government is preparing a proposal to Hizbullah and Israel which will include releasing the two kidnapped IDF soldiers.

IDF Pounds Lebanese Air Force Base

(IsraelNN.com) Israeli Air Force planes have bombed the Lebanese Air Force helicopter base near the Lebanese-Syrian border. Most of the aircraft at the base are made in the United States.

It is the third air field that the IDF has hit since Wednesday's retaliation to Hizbullah terrorist attacks on northern Israel.

Fox is reporting that the Sec Gen of the U.N. is sending a team to the area, boy this should solve things quickly. They will report on what Israel has done to the poor misunderstood members of the terriorist groups.
