Re: Breaking Palestinians: IDF forces on the move to southern Gaza

I wonder, what now? What will the response be by the terrorists (aka by the world, "freedom fighters"), by Syria, by Iran...will "King Abdullah" take a stand, he said he was against terrorism by those who have taken over his peaceful religion.

Supposedly Olmert said it had to be "limited" whatever that means - presumably find the missing soldier, round up a few terrorists and then head back out...?

Which is a far cry from the chest betaing earlier in the day when he stated that Israel would completely destroy and bring down the Hamas gov't...

Be sure to read this thread as well - says Iran and Syria are behind the events that caused this:

No such reports coming out of Israel - and I'm closely monitoring 4 news sources.....

Perhaps once again Fox has jumped the gun..?

Rafah/Rapha is in the OT and the word means Giants, Rapha was a son of Benjamin. This "Rafah" where this activity is going on right now...that is where the Amalekites AND the Idumeans dwelt AND it is just south of the area known as Philistia (Philistines)during the kingdoms of David and Solomon. Sounds like a spiritual stronghold.

Just posted in the last 3 minutes

Hamas: IDF attack may result in soldier’s death

A spokesman for the Izz el-Din el-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing, said if Israel attacks, IDF solider Gilad Shalit may be killed, adding that the soldier may be held in any house in Gaza. (Ali Waked)

Excellent observation - there is little doubt that spiritual warfare is occurring in high places.... and that these islamofacist terrorists are demon possessed

What I find interesting and not surprising is the use of the term "occupation" regarding Israel's ownership and right to the Gaza strip. Go IDF!

Update: No Solid Information on Whereabouts of Cpl. Shalit
                        01:15 Jun 28, '06 / 2 Tammuz 5766

(IsraelNN.com) Contrary to the implication of earlier reports, the IDF does not have solid information regarding the whereabouts of kidnapped soldier Cpl. Gilad Shalit, an IDF spokesperson said.

However, military intelligence is operating based on an assumption regarding a likely area for his captors to have taken Shalit - southern Gaza.

Meanwhile for a good chuckle - here are the very latest British morning headlines - no mention of the terrorists, or IDF in Gaza - all just trumpeting the wonderful news about Abbas and Hamas.....

Did you see how "quiet" tv news is on this, and people that I have been in contact with today that are either not Christian's or Christians that don't "know or care to know" prophecy, they are like, Huh, oh again, what a mess over there.... People don't get it, I have been on the edge of my seat all day!

Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Luk 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

                              Luk 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

Luk 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all.

Re: Breaking Palestinians: IDF forces on the move to southern Gaza

According to this Olmert (the dove) has only ordered the IDF to go into Gaza to occupy open fields - no actions to be taken against terrorist strong-holds...???

The IDF operation is designed to gain "bargaining chips" by taking control of open areas, such as the area near Rafah and later the northern Gaza Strip.

Israel hopes that this will eventually lead to a diplomatic agreement that will include freeing the kidnapped soldier in return for stopping the fire. Olmert has already rejected the idea of freeing Palestinian prisoners.

Olmert met Tuesday with Defense Minister Amir Peretz and heads of the defense establishment for the third time since Sunday's terrorist attack. The army's top brass came with new ideas for a ground offensive after Olmert rejected previous plans as inadequate.

"Our aim is not to mete out punishment but rather to apply pressure so that the abducted soldier will be freed. We want to create a new equation - freeing the abducted soldier in return for lessening the pressure on the Palestinians," he said.
According to information gleaned by the Palestinian Authority, Shalit is being held in the Khan Yunis refugee camp. His captors may be considering moving him elsewhere, possibly to the Jabalya refugee camp.
