I had always said that when I became successful I would get one (like James Bond always wore). She said that since I had always been there for her and the kids while she advanced in her career that I was successful. Her words and the look in her eyes meant more to me than the watch at that moment.

24) Cat person or Dog person? Dog. We have a Bichon Frise that I keep hoping will grow up to be a Husky.

I JUST bought my wife a Bichon puppy for her birthday/Christmas (she's AKC so I paid a pretty penny for her!). She is beautiful, SO SMART and unbelievably adorable. SOOOO soft!

Bichons don't WANT to grow up to be a Husky! They LIKE being an adorable lap-dog! (Don't let your Bichon hear you say that - they get their feelings hurt easy)

Ha! we got my mom a Bichon Friese and she is crazy! you can't hold her she wiggles constantly. We love her but she's almost impossible as a pet. Mom is worn out trying to take care of her. She is now 1 year old, too.

You have really cute kids, Felicia. Your one little guy has hair color and bangs exactly like mine when I was tiny. My grandma used to cut my hair everytime she saw me, but inevitably they were cut so short and crooked that my mother would be having fits. I remember Grandma saying, "Whoops! now this side is shorter. Uh oh! now THIS side is shorter!" The pictures I have of myself when I was two are so funny with my way-too-short lopsided fringe.


Bobby, I have to say you are totally wrong about cats. Both my cats "talk" to me all the time. I know exactly what they want by how they meow.

However, that being said, my BIRD, on the other hand, really talks and says everything he can think of. In english. Just ask Helene.

Felicia, I have been there. Flipped me out. i feel sick just thinking about it. Love Colorado. I lived outside Durham, NC for a couple months before I moved to Texas. Cute pics. We should start a picture thread sometime too.

Oh Ye of little faith! My bird is 12 inches big (a blue fronted Amazon) and knows how to put a cat in it's place right quick. Actually I have two birds (Tikko and Nike) and when we got the kittens, they were so much smaller than the birds that they learned very quickly that they were not to be tangled with. Now that the cats are bigger than the birds, they still know their place and don't get too close to those powerful beaks.

Our dog (a springer spaniel) on the other hand, loves to play with the birds (and cats) so there is perfect harmony in this house where the animals are concerned. Although when the cat is napping on the couch and the birds start to scream, she complains with little meows of annoyance. One bird screams, the cat meows and the other bird says "Nike, shut up!!"

"Crossroads", "Sunshine of Your Love" and "White Room" were the best work I think Clapton ever did. Even had a Clapton Strat on hold (one of the custom shop models by the guys who build them for him). Was gonna trade a boat but it didn't work out. Now I've switched, want an American Ash HSS Strat with Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups, LSR roller nut, S-1 switching and locking tuners. Wist they had the traditional bridge instead of the two-point tremelo bridge though.
