    Paragrah IV Jerusalem Covenant
Today, as old, we hold fast to the truth of the words of the Prophets of Israel, that all the inhabitants of the world shall enter within the gates of Jerusalem; "And it shall come to pass at the end of days, the mountain of the House of the Lord will be well established at the peak of the mountains and will tower above the hills, and all the nations shall stream toweards it.(True to Scripture below) "Each and every nation will live in it by its own faith:" "For all the nations will go forward, each with its own Divine Name; (NOT TRUE to Scripture below) we shall go in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever, " And in this spirit the Knesset of the State of Israel has enacted a law: the places holy to the peoples of all religions shall be protected from any desecration and from any restriction of free access to them. (Knesset Basic Law 1980 covers this)

Isaiah 2:2And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem (***NOT everybody in their own 'Divine name and own faith)

Micah 4: 1But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

2And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem (***NOT everybody in their own 'Divine name and own faith)

    From above post.......re: Noahides
The concept of non-Jews turning to the Torah could be the current-day fulfilment of the Jewish belief that all nations will eventually worship the One G-d.
The above is from Isaiah 2:2,3 and Micah 4:1,2 re: all nations worshipping one God.

However, for those following along re: the Jerusalem Covenant the past few years we know Israel made a covenant called the Jerusalem Covenant in 1992, going against these verses saying all can worship in their own Divine name and faith...where the Scripture says all will worship the God of Jacob.

Zechariah 1:14 tells us God is jealous for Jerusalem and Zion with a great jealousy.

Definitely something to all this...stay tuned!

    http://www.nishma.org/articles/updat...-1-noahide.htm

Noahides describe themselves as people who have embraced the Seven Laws of Noah as set out in the Torah and the Tractate Sanhedrin of the Talmud. Jewish Law defines them either as Bnei Noach or Gerim Toshavim. Almost all of the modern-day Noahides are former fundamentalist Christians who have rejected Christianity and the divinity of Jesus; Mr. Davis, a gregarious southerner and the de facto leader of the movement, is a former Baptist Minister.

The Noahides first received world-wide attention at the end of 1990, when Mr. Davis and members of his congregation removed the steeple from their church. This action -- declaring the steeple to be a pagan fertility symbol, chain-sawing it off and carting it to the dump -- created major waves in Athens, which is in the "buckle" of the American Bible Belt. Watching tapes of Mr. Davis on CNN and "Larry King Live" January, 1991, at the Torah Outreach Program in Jerusalem gave me my first glimpse of this movement, and left me with a deep fascination with it. Yet that much-publicized event was only one step in a journey that Mr. Davis had begun 17 years earlier, when he and some of his closest friends and colleagues decided to search for the historical Jesus and the religion that Jesus practised and preached. What they discovered was the Hebrew Bible and the path for righteous gentiles described in Jewish literature. Mr. Davis describes his search in Finding the G-d of Noah: The Spiritual Journey of a Baptist Minister from Christianity to the Laws of Noah, published by Ktav Press last July.

The concept of non-Jews turning to the Torah could be the current-day fulfilment of the Jewish belief that all nations will eventually worship the One G-d.
As Rabbi Asher Turin, NISHMA Issues #5 points out: "Therefore, Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto maintains that the prayer Aleinu, which speaks about the commitment of Israel to worship G-d, is not complete without the prayer Al Kein Nekaveh that states that we must pray that ... the entire world shall eventually recognize that only to Him should we pray and all will accept the yoke of His Kingdom and through this the purpose and reason of creation shall be complete...". The importance of the gentiles embracing the Seven Laws is emphasized by Rambam. In fact, in Mishneh Torah, Hilchot Melachim 8:10, he states that Jews are commanded to compel all the inhabitants of the world to accept the Seven Laws. It should be noted, however, that a large number of Rishonim (such as Ravad, Ramban, Tosafot and perhaps Rashi and Rashba) rule that there is no obligation on an individual Jew to impose Noahide rules on gentiles. Nonetheless, all would agree that the embracing of the Seven Laws by non-Jews furthers the goals of Torah and monotheism.

Do you see a tie-in between this and the Jerusalem Covenant, CNAV? I know you REALLY watch this kind of news.
    Hi Andy,

When I first saw the initial article I found it extremely interesting i.e. world "righteous gentiles" joining with the Sanhedrin. This just didn't make sense. Then I saw the 7 Noahide laws and the fact that George Bush Sr/Congress signed legislation saying the U.S. was founded on the 7 Noahide laws and this didn't make sense either, unless one relates it to the Freemasonry roots of the U.S. and then it does...they relate back to Noah and to "moral laws and the brotherhood of man". What really caught my attention was the punishment for breaking these laws.... decapitation.. with Rev. 20:4 in mind. I started seeing the possibility of a global picture emerging which I never thought of before. I have been waiting for January to see what emerges. It is very interesting that this is emeging at such a time as this. It would appear from what we know about Scripture and what is happening in the world now that the AC can't be far off and we know that he will think to change the laws and confirm a covenant with many.

I could see how these just may be the laws he may think to change things to....they are moral laws which no one can dispute however, hidden within these laws is the fact that you won't be able to witness for Jesus, as He would be considered a false god. I immediately thought of all this with that radio broadcast from Israel radio "Who is Messiah" by Melcah the other day when she was reading from Deuteronomy and saying anyone who tries to take Jews from their God (to Jesus) should be killed so missionaries should be shaking with fear. That is alarming in light of the above....and coming from a Jew imagine.

I have always looked at the Jerusalem Covenant, as I see it as an all-inclusive covenant for all religions and it goes against their own Scripture. (Isaiah 2:2,3; Micah 4:1,2). But the above is a very interesting develpment in its intial stages which will have to be watched. Let's all assess its progress together.

Just an initial assessment but this is NOT good for those witnessing for Jesus.

    I agree Lewis

Jewish groups urge: Secede from Israel
New effort seeks 'biblical heartland' to break away for own sovereignty

A new movement is set to be presented next week by residents of Judea and Samaria calling for Jews there to secede from Israel and create their own autonomous Jewish entity in part to head off the possibility of further unilateral Israeli withdrawals from the area, WND has learned.

The Judea Initiative, led by northern Samaria resident Yekutel Ben Yaacov, is seeking to gather signatures from Judea and Samaria's nearly 200,000 Jews for a manifesto declaring the creation of a sovereign Jewish authority that would govern itself independently according to Jewish law and would provide its own security.

Ben Yaacov said his new Jewish authority would be "governed by Jewish law. Non-Jews, including Palestinians, are more than welcome to live there as long as they accept Jewish sovereign and agree to abide by the Seven Noahide laws, the most basic of biblical dictates."

Thought i would emp this quote; it may have tribulation period meaning

A third goal of the creation of the High Council and the Sanhedrin's efforts in regard to the Noahide community, is to "transform the Noahide movement from a religious phenomenon - a curiosity many have not heard of - into a powerful international movement that can successfully compete with, and with G-d's help bring about the fall of, any religious movement but the pure authentic faith that was given to humanity through Noach, the father of us all," said emissary Bar-Ron.
