Petraeus: 'America Must Defend World Order'
Trump to speak with Putin, Merkel and Abe in day of calls
Why is Russia so happy with Trump?
The Russian ruling elite is hoping it would be able to negotiate a new world order with Trump. The "new Yalta" would redistribute spheres of responsibility to recognised great powers. The Kremlin, of course, sees Russia as one of them (alongside with the US, China, and perhaps Europe).
Yalta

Roosevelt, British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill, and Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin—the heads of state of the three main Allied forces in World War II—met near Yalta in February 1945 to plan how the governments of Germany and of the countries in eastern Europe would be established after the war.
EU's Tusk calls on Europe to rally against Trump threat
