Got this from a lurker, Lewis.

    Hi Andy,
Regarding Lewis' question, the crocus of the Holy Land is crocus sativus or Saffron Crocus, where they get the spice. They can be bought at Whiteflower Farm, American Meadows, Amazon, and even eBay, all on the web. I hope that helps!

Thanks much-- just bought 15 bulbs $10 on ebay... blue/white...
And emailed the info to our local Messianic Synagogue who did not know but wanted to !!!

Anyway I planted today my English wildflowers "Corn-cockle",, "Honesty" and "Love in a mist" seeds I harvested last summer... all origionally from the grounds of a 900 year old church in Oakley, Midlands, England several years ago by my highschool classmate Donna who married "a bloke" and will likely never come back to the states

      Honesty- (English Lunaria )
corn-cockle is reputed by some to be poisonous so dont put any in your favorite liberal occupant's tea
