let's suppose part of this covenant - that will eventually be signed or strengthened by the antichrist - with many invovles Jerusalem becominga n itnernational city. israel is the Jewish state - it could be argued that it would make sense for the US to have its embassy there, with that being the olive branch (in addition later to a Third Temple) for Israel.

Plus, didn't Ehud Barak promise the Palestinians everything *except* Jerusalem, knowing they'd turn it down? Or am I off on what he proposed? There has been so much to this.

The Jerusalem Covenant to me would still fit the perfect Daniel 9:27 covenant. I posted a lot here at one time on the Jerusalem Covenant....it has gained many signatures around the world. May not be it, but also may be it.

I think this is a ruse. They, the PA, will never agree to anything. It's their objective to destroy Israel because a world-wide califate cannot exist simultaneously with the sons of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

US President-elect Donald Trump will nominate David Friedman, his long-time attorney and a campaign adviser on Jewish world issues, as US ambassador to Israel, the transition team said in a statement on Thursday.
The US embassy has for decades been located in Tel Aviv. Trump had pledged during the presidential campaign to move it to Jerusalem.

"(Friedman) has been a long-time friend and trusted advisor to me. His strong relationships in Israel will form the foundation of his diplomatic mission and be a tremendous asset to our country as we strengthen the ties with our allies and strive for peace in the Middle East," Trump said in the statement.
