"I equally think we have to move toward globalization that has a different face, and which is not excluding people along the way."
Globalization is "clearly taking a different form" than imagined, she said.

"A new framework has to be invented," she said. "I hope it can be proposed in a sufficiently attractive way that's compatible with regional or bilateral agreements."
U.S. stocks have surged since Republican Donald Trump won the U.S. election last month, as investors bet his administration will lower taxes and increase spending on infrastructure such as roads and bridges. Lagarde welcomed signs of increased infrastructure outlays

    The original article

Lagarde Says Globalization Needs to Have a More Inclusive ‘Face’

-New approach should focus on smaller trade deals: IMF chief
-U.S. economy would benefit from infrastructure boost, she says
    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...inclusive-face

Actually the things she states aren't new or a reaction to Trump, as much as some would like to say. If you check these are the same ideas she had been promoting right from the beginning of the populist movement and posted somewhere in here.

Globalization/the new order just isn't something that stays the same, but evolved over the many many years.

There isn't an election exit, as much as people would like to believe.

You would have to get all the leaders of the world to shut down IMF, World Bank, United Nation, all those "unions" and on and on, and that is just scratching the surface of the western power centers. Now, you would have to make sure the Russians and Chinese at the same time, took their attempts to control globalization apart.

And that is just the political arm of the new order. We can't forget big business who are also trying to control the new order and on and on

    PS

The things people in the populist movement have been complaining about??? were mostly agreed on, and the implementation begun by Reagan and Thatcher. Under the sub movement of "Neoliberal Capitalism".
But it can be changed and evolved and still stay within globalization.

      Dear Christine,

No matter what face you put on it, globalization is not necessary for people to not be excluded along the way; presumably you mean, economically. I know "not being excluded" is not an option for any that are not onboard with the globalist agenda. While there are various groups like that, I speak of the group that is the body of Christ; the church .. Christ followers. Whatever is in store for us for not being a part of "the one world order" is expected. Our Lord informed us.

A new framework does not have to be invented. These are gimmicks to change the appearance of a never changing agenda. But there will be a new [evolving] framework.

Don't worry about the globalist's agenda not being "proposed in a sufficiently attractive way." It will be. The "world" will love it!

      Please consider the following:

      1 Corinthians 15:
      1
      Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand;
2 By which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain.
      3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

      Issachar
The church is on Earth to save souls from a lost world, not to save the world from lost souls.

Man learns about history, not from history. To learn from history requires wisdom. Cut off from God, he has none, so history repeats; no new thing under the sun.

I saw ten thousand talkers whose tongues were all broken - dylan

Psalms 122:8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

It's weird Issachar, but it is man's nature. The need to dominate others. The strange notion some people are better then others, because of where they were born etc etc, or they just have the upper hand on their neighbors.

Technology has brought us to a very dangerous place. But man's unsaved human nature is the same. A place were one country and/ or one person can and will try to actually control all.

        Genesis 11New International Version (NIV)
        The Tower of Babel
11 Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. 2 As people moved eastward,[a] they found a plain in Shinar and settled there.
3 They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”
5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. 6 The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.

God is the one and only answer.

Yes, that is biblically accurate imho.

The first part of Genesis 3 is very interesting when reading the record of the devil's words when tempting Eve.

          Genesis 3:
          1
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

v.5: "ye shall be as gods .."

I believe these few verses hold the key as to the nature of the sin nature. There have been men attempting to dominate men since the fall. But man wasn't to dominate other men; that is the work of the One true God.

          Genesis 1:
          26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

          Issachar
