I thought I would add this as it concerns Canada .
I went out to support our Native Indian church last night --There is a young Korean pastor there who graduated last year from Trinity Western our Christian University( beleaguered by our government and other witch hunting groups), their teachers and law grads have had to fight for their legal right to work in the Social Marxist state of Canada--each time they have won although it has been long protracted and expensive processes including appeals.
That info aside I was struck once more on the plight of Christianity here in Canada. Pastor June told me that only 3 men graduated as pastors this last year. Now this is a university supported by 5 big Christian denominations and when I went there for my first year of B School 30 years ago there were many many many graduating as pastors. I wonder how many of them are still in the ministry? But 3 pastors now!!!
I asked him why he thought this might be and he told me that its the persecution that is here and that pastors in Canada are under with the hate crimes laws, and the tribunals for human rights and the witch hunters who purposely target those who are true and serving the Lord. The churches are so luke warm that when the pastors are targeted they stand alone really as people are concerned in their emotions but not with their actions or commitment. He also told me that he knows of the Pentacostal of Canada Asssembly ( hope I have that name right--the Pentecostal part is right) has 19 churches in our province of BC alone without pastors. Wow!--someone told me that they were the biggest denomination in Canada.
Anyway---I think we are in the time of the house churches again and my church currently is on Saturdays where we serve a really great meal to the street people, minister to them and with them, sing, pray, preach the gospel and just love them. The Holy Spirit is tangible in our midst and I feel like I am back in Acts. We see the power returning and I see more "called out, called out ones" ( as I call them) just ministering the gospel--its real---I dont know how I missed this all my life. On Sundays I am free to support pastors like this tiny church to the Natives and its lovely Korean pastor and his young pregnant wife who are giving their "all" to Jesus. I am praying and my heart is moved for the Native Indians I want to see a mighty movement of the Lord in their midst to raise up their young men and bring them out of their addictions etc to move across North America as missionaries and evangelists for the gospel.
Not coincidentally I see Acts working backward: the Holy Spirit on us and in us working those signs and miracles that I thought were gone, house or small churches serving the gospel type churches with people who choose Jesus above all, persecution and paying the ultimate price and just as the HS came in he will leave with the bride for the wedding feast--and I wonder if the bride is a subset of the church who is invited but is busy indulging in the world---I am reading Jacob Prasch HARPAZO and he is thinking along the same lines and so is Chuck Missler so I find my musings have some others who have arrived there too. There is so much I dont know any more but I do know the gospel and I do know it is the only answer for our countries and if we dont give our lives for it then if the Lord tarries---what will be the future for our children or children's children?
I too am concerned for the US election--but we win either way. If Trump wins perhaps if he can be trusted with what he has said during the election, then the window for Christians living in peace and the open air waves for the gospel, will be around for a longer time of relative ease. But if the NWO wins as it did in Canada (and I think too for the USA) , then--it will be a time of increasing turbulence for Christians and it will cost us our freedoms, possessions, and lives for the gospel. There will be a falling away whereby those who will count the cost and pay the price will do so, and the others will continue in Laodicea or similar state churches and continue their form of godliness which if we are honest is what we see in the NA church today.
Jesus loves his church and he is calling it to purity and to follow him in seeking and saving the lost, and rooting and grounding the saved. The church can err by being all Word /doctrine/ and righteousness (legalism) without a great measure of the HS--faith becomes something that gets stuck in the head /intellect/mental assent to the Word. Then there is the Spirit camp where things can get crazy, licentious, and lacking in the Word because experience becomes substituted for faith-------but the same gospel saves us on both sides---------what I am seeing now is people coming from both banks of the river and they are just jumping in like I did---the Word and Spirit together led by the Spirit ---faith becomes believing God and doing what the Spirit directs and often this is less about knowing but applying. Jesus is calling out the called out, asking who has an ear let him hear. So don't worry about elections---I have not followed much geopolitics for over a year now--just been serving Jesus with my friends and Jesus has been growing me like never before. Ive cried more, and had more joy and power--and Ive seen miracles that I thought didn't happen---He will not leave us powerless as the world gets darker and more corrupt. He will free us to embrace Him and walk in the darkness because we bring that light that changed western civilization before at great cost to those who brought it. Rise up church, rise up people---lets not at this late hour get mired down in the muck of the world---lets be free because we are free. Lets be about our Father's work because He may send his Son very soon and I hear there is a banquet.
