  • Obama talks trans-Atlantic trade with Germany's Merkel

Although the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership was the primary focus of Obama's visit
Merkel also used the occasion of Obama's visit to invite the leaders of France, Britain and Italy to Hannover for a meeting Monday to discuss Syria, Libya, IS, migration and other issues.

I would assume these will also come up as Obama was just talking with the Arab Union at the US/Arab Union Summit.

Negotiations on a U.S.-EU free trade deal “will fail” if the US refuses to make significant concessions, Germany’s Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel warned on Sunday ahead of a visit by U.S. President Barack Obama.

      So now...

Betting odds move sharply toward Britain staying in EU after Obama warning

Building walls and isolationism is dying a slow painful death, as the new order ideology rises.
The reality a country can't thrive outside the system is sinking in. What globalization truly means.
One of the main slogans of the exit people was that they could get a better deal then the EU, after all .....

But it seems the old ways are gone, and you can't move forward unless you play by the new rules.

Hollande against signing U.S.-EU trade deal at current stage

France has been particularly vocal about what it sees as a lack of movement on the U.S. side.

Warning warning warning as this is a environmental organization article

          Apparently ...

Greenpeace Netherlands on Monday leaked 248 secret pages of the controversial trade deal between the U.S. and EU
          and the claim is....

Confirming that the TransAtlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) amounts to “a huge transfer of power from people to big business,”
          https://ecowatch.com/2016/05/03/leaked-ttip-documents/

It is built, but now they are arguing over who gets power. Everyone pulling for their team to have more power.

I can't help but ponder if we aren't getting so close to someone who seems to have all the answer. If the time is soon coming for the Religious part of the new order to step up and take it's place????

Good point, SAT. This, and so much else that is happening on the world scene seems to indicate that the antichrist's appearance is fast approaching. Perhaps a new thread.

Interesting news on Fox News this morning concerning TTIP. EU people are protesting its enaction, claiming their champagne will start coming from California (yuck!) rather than Champagne, France, that sausages will come from Wisconsin rather than Nuremburg, and so on. TTIP looks to be a boon for US big business, at the sacrifice of the EU's heritage and culture, rather than being beneficial for the people.

Yep, from past articles it seems they are setting up an international court where companies could take countries too. If the people decide something and a company claims it could affect their profits, the court could make the country pay or go against the wishes of it's people.

Which is where the fear of business over people is coming from.
