Sunni vs Shi'ite. Somehow I don't see that working very well...but it sure sounds good.

lol Oh I agree Andy. It does appear that way right now. But this is end times. It would only take one or two moves and it could very well happen.
Sunni and Shiite are becoming more and more anxious to get their "unions" completed. After a major event (Damascus????) I would guess they could be a whole lot more receptive.

Plus, if they actually get the Americas(TTIP & TPP) and all the EU controls together as one.......
I can only imagine they will be looking for someone to lead...that seems to be in man's nature.
      "If"

The one who ultimately wants control can't be tooo far behind.
Plus we can't forget the theology of the new order is spreading quickly ....the message he will bring to both the political and religious world will be absorbed by the majority.

So much of both are so close and waiting.

Indeed, the glory of Jacob will fade. Saudi is being friendly toward Israel, as is Russia - we know that's going to change (especially Russia). If Israel is the cause of the utter destruction of this 5,000 city I can see the Muslim world unifying to rise up against Israel.

Russia's Putin, Iran's Rouhani agree to cooperate closely on Syria

The Kremlin said President Vladimir Putin and Iran's Hassan Rouhani had exchanged views on the conflict and a range of other topical issues during a telephone call. It gave no further details.

Iran is divided and in the past we heard about contact with the Revolutionary Guard etc. side. It should be interesting to see if this actually means something. If so what?

Khamenei defends Iran's missile programme as UN concerns mount

In his Wednesday speech, Khamenei also reprimanded internal critics. “That they say the future of the world is one of negotiation and not one of missiles,” the ayatollah said, “if that is said out of ignorance, well it is ignorance, but if it’s said knowingly, it is treason.” He was invoking, almost word for word, a recent tweet by Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani, the head of the country’s expediency council, who had said that “the future of the world is one of dialogue, not missiles”.

The two ayatollahs have been at odds in recent years over many domestic and foreign issues. Rafsanjani was not allowed to run for the presidency in 2013 and one of his sons, Mehdi, is serving a jail term for corruption. Rafsanjani, however, came at the top of the list of winners in recent elections for the assembly of experts, which is in charge of appointing the next supreme leader.

Iranian leader says missiles more important than talks

Pushing back againt reformists, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says without rockets, Tehran would be too weak at negotiating table

Re: Iran Hopes for Talks With Saudis to Resolve Differences

I just can't see Iran and Saudi Arabia making nicey nice. Besides the Sunni vs Shiite issue, the past year has seen both countries ramping up the rhetoric, and Saudi Arabia making overtures to acquire nuclear weapons. Then you have Ez 38-39, where Sheba and Dedan (Saudi Arabia) are surprised by the attack. Saudi Arabia may or may not be an adversary in the Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 war. As SAT likes to say, "big shrug ".

I agree, WLNF. That Frontline video made it very clear the Saudi's are taught from a young age that the Shiite is to be killed.
Seems there is going to be a lot of smoke-and-mirrors in order for this world order to come together...which we are clearly seeing. "We'll put out differences aside (on the surface) for the world order but underneath it all, we continue to hate you."

Re: Iran Hopes for Talks With Saudis to Resolve Differences

It is strange, the world is divided but they keep pushing on and claiming the goal is peace and security. Plus much of it is related to religion. White supremacist claiming chrisitianity and their superiority. Shiite and Sunni both claiming superiority. Even Putin is trying to claim the religious high road. Then add left and right battling it out.

Apparently Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani got the memo
the head of the country’s expediency council, who had said that “the future of the world is one of dialogue, not missiles”.
                  but...

                  Ayatollah Khamenei isn't buying.

“That they say the future of the world is one of negotiation and not one of missiles,” the ayatollah said, “if that is said out of ignorance, well it is ignorance, but if it’s said knowingly, it is treason.”
                  But soon......

                  Rev 13
The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast. 4 People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”

As always, SAT, that was well put together and thoroughly enjoyed by me!
Yes, they will wonder after the Beast...all together. For a time, anyway.
