The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

In Christ alone,
Andy

Crass Commerce Releases George W. Bush Voodoo Doll For Hurricane Relief

Crass Commerce has announced that it has developed, and is distributing, the George W. Bush Voodoo Doll as an unconventional, yet powerful therapy for hurricane relief.

Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) November 15, 2005 -- Following completion of extensive research and testing, Crass Commerce is releasing the George W. Bush Voodoo Doll, an unconventional, yet powerful therapy that has the potential to bring relief to millions.

It is in honor of New Orleans that Crass Commerce developed this uniquely appropriate therapy to promote recovery. What better way to hasten relief than by using New Orleans' own age-old art of Voodoo to enforce accountability on a president that has never deigned to accept any.

Here's the only Voodoo I've ever seen that works.

Some of it is meant to be ominious to the enemy and stir a sense of esprit de corps, because after all, they are machines of destruction, though often used in defense.

Back then, 50's and 60's, they were of such. Banshee, Phantom, Voodoo, Intruder, Thunderchief, Sabre.

In the designs of the mid-1960's, 1970's they went to traditional bird or flying insect names: Eagle, Falcon, Hornet. There were exceptions like the Tomcat, or A-10 Thunderbolt II. Some like the 1960's F-111 was given "Aardvark" because of the long nose related to the sophisticated (at that time) terrain-avoidance radar which would fly nap of the Earth. Unfortunately, it became a beacon for Soviet SAM's (best flight is with no radar emissions). The EF-111 (electronics warfare) was named "Raven".

Soviet planes are designated by a system called Byeman which spits out a code, probably from a computer even back then. "F" for fighter, "B" for bomber, "S" for strategic missile.

          Su-15 Flagon, MiG-21 Fishbed, MiG-23/27 Flogger, MiG-29 Fulcrum, MiG-25 Foxbat, MiG-31 Foxhound, Su-27/32/35/37 Flanker, etc.

          B-160 Blackjack, Tu-26 Backfire, Tu-95 Bison. Tu-22 Blinder etc.

          SS-25/27 Sickle, SS-18 Satan, SS-4 Sandal, etc.
