We appreciate the fervent prayers that are being offered on Dr. Rogers’ behalf and that of his family.
If you are checking our website for the first time regarding our updates, Dr. Rogers developed a blood clot in his lungs causing double pneumonia while undergoing chemotherapy treatments for colon cancer. He is currently on a ventilator to aid his breathing.
As this day comes to a close, Dr. Rogers’ condition still remains unchanged.
Hebrews 4:16 - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Oh, that's too bad, he recently retired? -- Was because of this? I liked his preaching, good old fashion stuff, nothing weird. Maybe his reward is just near. I hope their family will be comforted in this time, in Jesus' name.

      ADRIAN ROGERS
FOUNDER OF LOVE WORTH FINDING AND PASTOR EMERITUS OF BELLEVUE BAPTIST CHURCH

      September 12, 1931 - November 15, 2005

Dr. Adrian Rogers, Founder of Love Worth Finding Ministries, Pastor Emeritus of Bellevue Baptist Church and a gifted man of God passed away in to the presence of the Lord early this morning after battling cancer and double pneumonia.

I imagine literally thousands who came to know Jesus because of his ministry met him at the gate as he stepped over to glory and beheld the face of Jesus.

Details are incomplete at this time, but please continue to check this web site for updates and also please continue to pray for the Rogers' family

I know this great man of god is now with Jesus in heaven. He had a great
      impact on many lives.

God Bless this man. He was a wonderful preacher. I would almost miss
Sunday School at church to listen to him. He's now in the presence of
Jesus. I pray for his family.
Adrian had a large impact on many lives, and didn't water down his faith or his preaching by bowing to pressure from the PC crowd, but stood on the bible. I for one will miss him greatly. It's a sad day for this world.

My dad was friends with him for years. They would call each other up and pray together, often about a certain crisis, or just about things in general. My dad said he was an awesome man, and a great man of God.
I agree with the statement about being met at the gates. That Church didn't grow on it's own. God had his hand on that Church, and on Dr. Rogers, for many years. I have told my wife, that when someone like him goes home, we are getting close. IMHO Dr. Rogers was a heavy hitter for God. Not that there aren't many out there like him still, but that calling this man home, would signal the end being somewhat near. Just based on his fruits, and on the ministries he had.
