The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

In Christ alone,
Andy

He still allows people to greet him as the Holy Father...when the Scripture says call "no man" your father.

        Matthew 23:9
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. (There is ONE Holy Father, and His throne is in heaven and not in Rome...Scripture declares this as Truth)

The key word “your” signifies that only the creator is the true “Father”. If you cannot use the term “father” in any other context, then many messages of Jesus must be considered as rendered useless. There are over 800 references to father in the King James version. Most of these do not refer to God the Father. There is no rebuke by Jesus or anyone else that these usages were wrong. When Jesus used the reference “your” father it would have had little meaning if the basic concept of father were not clearly understood by being in common usage.

The use of the word “father” in regards to priests, only means that a priest acts as a spiritual guide under the authority of God the Father. Nobody thinks that a priest is God the Father. If you have a concordance look up the word “father” and see the many ways that “father” is used in Scripture, especially in the New Testament.
