Amir's update really gives a good picture. If they hit back TOO hard, all-out war could erupt - yet they need to hit them HARD.
Plus, hitting them too hard would also potentially turn the Lebanese people against them and, unlike the "Palestinians", they are not all terrorists. MOST despise Hez-bullies and have no ill-will toward Israel. Hitting them too hard could change that mindset.
Quite the quandary - this is what I find fascinating.
