  • Minneapolis Changed the World More than 9/11

The film "The Fall of Minneapolis" brings out much that the world has NOT [purposefully] heard concerning the whole George Floyd incident. I believe it was the start of a paradigm shift. Being 2 AM I'm not sure it's time to start this thread, but having just finished watching the [free] movie (below), I am moved to do so because of the significance I believe it holds.

The idea that so many people can be affected in such a deep way in a bad way by lies; lies of the government/media collusion, is deep and astounding. And very effective I would add.

From the police chief, the city council, the media, to national representatives in congress, the media, to the president, the media and the paid rioters and liars in the streets on their allowed destructive paths, and the media, an actual war against the U.S. and all Western Civilization is far underway and deep. It is not going away.

A couple of years ago it really hit me that the fall of it all is ridiculously based solely on lies. Immediately it also hit me that it has to be that way in these last days. Of course it does because in "the world" there is only truth and lie. It cannot be brought down by truth because truth is of God and can only build and sustain. So for the prophesied last days events to come to be, it must be based in lies.

Take a look (I hope) at this movie (released 11/16/2023) and realize what is really happening. Men's lives destroyed by lies. But the enemy of our souls, working through people so willingly ignorant :

    2 Peter 3:
    5
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

For personal (selfish) gain, people choose to be ignorant of truth (Psalms 10 comes to my mind). Why are so many wicked in high places working for the destruction of Western Civilization? I would contend it is their deep, deep ignorance of what communism always does with those that help them get a foothold in their respective nations . . . they're the first to go; the first to be lined up against the wall and shot. But, they blissfully go there thinking they were to be given privilege for their effort. The know not that the enemy only and always uses them. Once the enemy's goal is achieved, they no longer need them. This has been repeated so often in history that there is no excuse to not know, except choosing to be ignorant. The lust of the flesh is like that; "No, no. Do not look at history. Do not even look around at the present. What I want is all that matters!"

I think that this paradigm shift that I see in the movie is seen also in the January 6 arrests and sham trials and the rampant pro-hamas (often disguised as pro-palestinian) war on U.S. soil and all the NONENFORCEMENT of law (lawlessness from the top, down).

The church is on Earth to save souls from a lost world, not to save the world from lost souls.

Man learns about history, not from history. To learn from history requires wisdom. Cut off from God, he has none, so history repeats; no new thing under the sun.

Thanks for posting the link to the film brother Issachar. I've heard it discussed. I definitely recall watching all that unfolded across the country in the wake of George Floyd's death and just not believing what I was seeing. Lawlessness became acceptable. Being old enough to remember all that went on during the Civil Rights movement, then the anti-Vietnam War protests, I could not believe what I was seeing. The sheer animalistic violence and wholesale destruction of property was jaw dropping. And no one seemed to suffer any consequences for their behavior.

Now we are seeing vicious attacks by Pro-Hamas (a Terrorist Group) on our Jewish brothers and sisters. A riot outside the DNC that made Jan. 6th look mild. I believe, as I am still dealing with the shock of it, that America is one step away from being irredeemable. Mob rule by people who support the slaughter of innocent civilians, women, babies and the elderly cannot be called anything other than Demonic.

My opinion is that the U.S. has already taken that step. If I'm wrong (very well could be), that last step is not far away. We'll see how elections go a year from now. Same group or sort of group in control? I would call that the last step.

We all, as humans, once we have entered into the journey along a very narrow road that leads to eternal life in the presence of the Creator, learn by the renewing of the mind (Romans 12:2) to have our hope in Christ alone. We begin life on earth in sin and the sin nature only allows hope in itself. "I got this!" Not. Every time I think that all of my hope is only in Christ, the working of the Holy Spirit reveals to me yet another area of needed renewing.

I believe that the church (not what "the world" calls the church) is not far from that place of needing to have hope only in Christ. As there have always been areas of the world where those believers needed that, I'm talking globally; all of us. A place of hope in Christ alone is also a place of great joy and peace.

      John 14:
      27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
28 You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
29 And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. (ESV)

"The world's" idea of peace is a place where material needs are met. No hunger. No financial struggle. Worry free. That is neither real peace or achievable in a fallen world. But real peace, the peace that Jesus gives, is irrelevant to physical circumstances.

      Isaiah 61:
      10
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

      Isaiah 32:
      16
Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness abide in the fruitful field.
17 And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.
18 My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.

Issachar, hoping that at least some will read the full context of any scriptures I post
