Just wanting to clarify . . . my belief as a Christian, is that Christians have no business having their children in a government school.

Cost? Two things: 1.) too high. 2.) 1 is Irrelevant. There is plenty of money amongst the Church. It needs to be spent according to God's will, not according to the desires of the flesh. The body of Christ is under serious attack in the West. We really do need each other.

Insanity reigns. But their is a major backlash happening. My county in FL was where the clean out the school boards movement began. And the voters did just that. Fortunately, my governor is a sane Christian pro-family man. These books will not be found in my state.

Romans 1. To me we are living in worse than that. That whole "given over to a strong delusion thing" in Thessalonions 2.

This is not the first time I've let Satan really hit me with discouragement that almost lead me to make this decision.
Now is NOT the time to back away...now is the time to stand STRONG in Him.

Well said. Thank you for posting this. Lately I keep thinking of 2 Timothy 1:7. The KJV which I memorized as a child says, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and love, and of a sound mind." Our society is lacking a sound mind. You don't have to be a believer or even a "religious" person to see that transgenderism makes no sense. Satan has so blinded the eyes of the world that many do not see how ridiculous they look and sound. Did you see the movie, "What is a Woman"? It did a good job of showing the insanity of the transgender movement (in their own words) in a way that was both informative and funny.

The post got away from me before I was done writing. Oh well, just wanted to add that it’s very difficult for many to afford a private school, even if it’s church based. In my case, I chose to homeschool my daughter. It was before these current perverse teachings were introduced. Never thought it would get this bad. I chose to homeschool because of the ways evolution was being promoted using the children’s beloved dinosaur as the ticket. Sounds crazy, but it was the most popular creature in every book and teaching tool. As much as I appreciate teachers and their devotion to our children, I couldn’t stand the thought of her being in a hostile environment that denied God His creation.
She now homeschools.

I don't know what it would look like . . the whole thing about greater emphasis on education of our (Christian) children. Finances are not, unfortunately, the whole of why our children are in government schools, but it is a large part of it. I guess when I see some "ministries" buying private jets, way expensive [multiple] housing, and all that, it tells me that they are either ignorant of what is going on in our current world or . . something worse.

There's a lot to this whole topic so maybe it should be a separate thread as this one is just another of many issues pointing to the fact that the world is in a very, very sharp/rapid decline.

So happy to hear your daughter in turn, is also homeschooling.

Issachar, I think that finances and the way that so many churches handle them is a very worthy topic. I cringe when I see some of the churches that have been built over the years. Multi-million dollar monuments that are used for maybe 5 hours a week. They sit empty while the streets have homeless families, elderly people who struggle to pay for their prescriptions and families who are food challenged in this inflationary economy. What would Jesus do? That's an old saw but for me, it really is the question that should always be asked.
