What is COP26 and what was agreed at Glasgow climate conference?

A number of pledges have already been made, which could change
    our everyday lives.

Israel ups airstrikes in Syria as next step against Iran
Israel has seemingly upped its “war between the wars” campaign
against Iran in Syria, as the country’s top officer warns that the IDF
is accelerating its plans to deal with Iran’s nuclear program.

Israel’s Foreign Minister claims of being from line of Jesus resurrected
“I am a Zionist,” Lapid said. “I am a man of the future who also lives
his past. I am from the line of Moses, Jesus, Sigmund Freud, Karl Marx,
Albert Einstein, Woody Allen, Bobby Fischer, Bob Dylan, Kafka, Herzl,
Ben Gurion. I am part of a tiny persecuted minority that influenced the
world more than any other nation. While others invested their energies in
war, we had the sense to invest in our minds.”

Afghanistan's ghost soldiers undermined fight against Taliban
Afghanistan's ex-finance minister has blamed the government's fall
on corrupt officials who invented "ghost soldiers" and took payments
from the Taliban. Khalid Payenda told the BBC that most of the
300,000 troops and police on the government's books did not exist.
He said phantom personnel were added to official lists so that generals
    could pocket their wages.

‘When are my parents coming?’ – 1,300 Afghan children evacuated
    to U.S. in limbo

“To not know what will happen to them, and then also to not know if
and how and when their families might escape, and will their families
be okay” is causing huge amounts of stress and trauma for the children,
said Jennifer Vanegas, supervising attorney with the Michigan
    Immigrant Rights Center.

US concerned Russia may try to 'rehash' 2014 Ukraine invasion,
    Blinken says

“We don't have clarity into Moscow's intentions, but we do know its
playbook,” Blinken said. “Our concern is that Russia may make the
serious mistake of attempting to rehash what it undertook back in
2014, when it amassed forces along the border, crossed into sovereign
Ukrainian territory and did so claiming — falsely — that it was
    provoked.”

Turkish defense firm to test sea-based drones as orders swell
The Turkish defense company will soon test-fly two new unmanned
aircraft that will extend Turkey's drone capabilities from land-based to
naval operations, its CEO said on Wednesday.

RNC Chair McDaniel: Biden, Dems 'Out of Touch' With Reality of
    Inflation

"In Biden's America, your paycheck is worth less and you owe the
    government more."

When It Comes To 2022, You Should Definitely Prepare For
    The Worst

If you have a bad feeling about 2022, you are not alone. As we
approach the new year, it seems like things are going wrong all
around us. We are facing the most epic supply chain crisis in our
history, inflation is out of control, vaccine mandates are killing
careers and forcing people out of jobs all over the country, and
America is the most deeply divided that I have ever seen in my
    entire lifetime. (by Michael Snyder)

AR Pioneer Warns That Metaverse Could Make “Reality Disappear”
“I am concerned about the legitimate uses of AR by the powerful
platform providers that will control the infrastructure,” Rosenberg,
a computer scientist, wrote in the essay. Among Rosenberg’s concerns
is that third parties could introduce “paid filter layers” that allow certain
users to see specific tags over real-life people. These tags might float
above every person’s head, for instance, and provide bits of information
    about them.

    [What does Metaverse mean:
In its current meaning, metaverse generally refers to the concept
of a highly immersive virtual world where people gather to socialize,
play, and work. Awareness of this term surged on October 29, 2021,
when Facebook rebranded itself “Meta” and released a video in which
CEO Mark Zuckerberg says, “I believe the metaverse is the next
    chapter for the internet.”]
