Gen. Colin Powell Dead Complications of Covid--Fully Vaccinated
Oh my.
I had the absolute honor of serving under Generals Powell and Schwarzkopf during Desert Shield/Storm.
Considered both of those men absolute heroes.
Granted, I likely had them on a bit of a pedestal that wasn't warranted but - such a flood of memories seeing his name.
He has said things against conservatives and in favor of the coming global government over the years since the Bush administration...
The odds are that he was a republican and Christian in name only.... He certainly was a vocal never Trumper...
I'm fully aware of Gen. Powell's good and bad sides. The point of it is, he was a man who pulled himself up from nothing. Black in America. I don't think he was a Christian but I don't know. Definitely much more liberal in his later years. The point of it all is that he was a very decent human being who led men and women in allegiance to this nation when we are looking at jerks like the current head of the Joint Chiefs who are more concerned with critical race theory than keeping our armed services up to speed. There are actual decent human beings who live better lives than a lot of self professed Christians. Stepping off my soap box.
