    Yes, "The Sun" does tend to report on lots of interesting stuff... but then so does the National Enquirer
    anyway, Wiki says:

    and of course, those of us living near the ocean occasionally see and smell the mostly annual ""Red Tide ///algie bloom""
    lots of those tiny critters arrive and mostly die
