This is considered blasphemy to the hard line jihadi bent Islamists. Rouhani has always pushed the envelope though.

It certainly could be interesting. The majority, who are mostly younger, support Rouhani.
If the hardliners push to hard or try to stop the changes he is pushing, they could soon find themselves facing an Iranian Spring. Either way they are losing the battle as the generations under them have already taken on some of the ideology.

It's very interesting ... "hardliners" vs. "younger."

Amongst native Americans, there is a irreparable rift between "the elders" and the "young."

This is the same .. often in many civilizations and societies within civilizations.

It is often what is called "conservative" vs. "liberal."

The hardliners want to "keep beliefs and morals the same as they always were" and the young and upcoming want to experiment, question "do their own thing."

Sometimes that's good .. e.g. husbands can beat their wives if they need it .. UGH! .. and the younger? No way.

Sometimes that's bad ... e.g. Do an honest days work to make your way .. nah; everything is owed us .. we deserve it. Not.
