Seriously, this reminds me of a great line from one of the Star Trek movies. Captain Kirk had to land the Enterprise in Central Park in New York - some kind of emergency. He went out of the ship to do something, and stepped out of the invisibility shield for a moment (or something like that). A lady came along and gasped to see him, and asked "Are you from Outer Space?" Captain Kirk quickly replied - "No, I'm from Iowa. I just work in Outer Space."

Out Of Place Objects. I've hears it as OOPARTS (out of place artifacts)

But, it's reall a great term, either way, for starting a discussion if you don't know how else to start one. :-)

Speaking of 'scratching the surface', I've been looking at this post for 3 days now, and for the life of me can't figure out what "OOPO's" is. Care to enlighten me, please?
