I do not believe that we know how voting vs. God’s choosing leadership, works. Do as you can best tell in this world, as the Lord leads.

Having said that, if voting means anything, then I believe that the media is a very .. indeed, the most, significant player in this world’s politics.

As I pay attention to what foolishness is pouring out of the minds of [pseudo]journalists and the sway that has on the can’t-think-for-themselves public, I realize that who wins an election is determined by media.

Looking at this thread’s lead article, I see more of the same, blatant, lying and deceiving words as those that are circling the globe 24/7. Listening this morning to some clips of last night’s Ministry of Propaganda in action (wish I could say, inaction), I have to believe that for anyone to believe any of it, they have to be .. using Peter’s term from his second letter, the 5th verse of the 3rd chapter .. WILLFULLY ignorant.

Of course, this all goes back to something I have mentioned often, as have many others, that the first line/front line of attack on Western Civilization and it’s Judeo/Christian ethic, has been and continues to be, government [pseudo]education. Get the young while they’re young.

Am I talking about every teacher in every school? Hardly. I personally know and know of, many good people in a teaching position that are just that; good people. But the system is “of the world” and is corrupt. Books such as The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America by Iserbyt or The Underground History of American Education by Gatto and several others that predate those two examples, document this thoroughly. The goal of the corrupted system? To tear down Western Civilization and replace it with a global, socialist state. They may have everything, most importantly a largely non thinking population, in place.

Good news! Our rest, our peace .. contentment .. is in Christ, the Rock that cannot be moved and in fact, breaks anything that runs into it.

I would but note that the above article is very brief. However, it is important to note exactly who the order applies to:

"District Judge Michael Simon blocked agents from dispersing, arresting, threatening to arrest, or using force against legal observers and journalists." (emphasis mine)

Yes, these types of things must come to pass, but we must also understand them in their context; otherwise, we may unintentionally misrepresent what is actually happening. The truth will be told. In the meantime, I dont want to risk spreading half truths about events. That can do just as much, if not more damage ... The problem with that, Shibboleth, is demonstrated with the couple that defended their home from the "protestors".
What "THEY" call legal is not what the law says is legal. We all know the real story behind that was the BLM thugs had threatened the couple's home, pet and themselves, so they had every legal right to stand and defend their home. But that's not the narrative and the media is intentionally leaving out facts...making it sound like a group of 'peaceful protestors' were threatened by a couple of gun-toting nutcases, so they should be the ones jailed.

I submit that anyone can do anything they want (loot, set fire, attack police/civilians, whatever) as long as they hold a BLM sign above their heads and it's suddenly considered legal and protected. Thus -- I tend to agree on this one: The judge is hamstringing the Federal agents.

No where did I read that state officers would be trying into arrest federal officers. Federal agents are there to protect federal buildings. They have not been ordered to go into the streets unless they themselves are attacked. Part of the problem with the order above is that when "fireworks" are going off in their faces they can't tell who is a legal journalist or observer. So they do what they are supposed to do. Journalists do have a legal right to cover the protests. How they cover it or what they write is questionable for sure, but the right to a free press is a right. Now, if they want to disobey a legal order to disperse, they are still subject to the same consequences as other protestors. It was not a blanket order against the use of federal officers to restore order.


In regard to what happened to the couple that defended their home, I would have done the same thing.

Ah, okay - you're keying in on Lewis' last sentence about "arrest(ing) Federal officers".

I agree, that's an overstatement and not in the short article nor in the Source article from which that was extracted.

I said/ meant "could try" arresting federal officers.... To enforce this judges order would require state officers to stop federal officers from doing their jobs...

now another article said the feds were stopping and arresting wanted violent antifa / blm terrorists....

today elsewhere read that thousands of
violent insurrectionists have been arrested... YEA ..on the .Gitmo express?
