    Amir says this forever puts to rest where the temple was actually built but I already know the arguments will continue.
    Interesting, nonetheless.

    Sanity is optional there !!!

    Wilson's arch was possibly built in Solomon's time, centuries before the Romans built their fortress Antonia over on top of the arch!!!
    So, you see, Its ""dating"" --sort of, anyway -- is really meaningless... Jerusalem's streets of Jesus day are up to 60 feet BELOW todays streets...
    Note that Josephus says that the whole city was demolished as was the tower the temple was built on!!! The only structure left standing was the Roman's fort Antonia, still there today!!!
    Josephus was there!!! Eyewitness !!!
