Have I been under a rock??
Apparently, this has been around for a long time...fascinating stuff!

My understanding has always been was that the copper scrolls (plural, I think) were in the possession of the Israel Antiquities folks, and that they have already been fully read, by computed tomography (CAT scan) - as an alternative to actually unrolling them - to avoid damage.

That said, I didn't have time to listen to the video in its entirety. Indeed, interesting stuff.

Some of the metal scrolls say where the temple treasure is located... thing is, though, that the directions say to take a bearing from a tree on top of a hill, and both the tree and the hill are long gone--or its WHICH hill-- so good luck finding anything !!!

        That is correct.

I'm intrigued but can't imagine how they can even hint that they know where some $57 billion of gold is and remain secure...them AND the info.

REminds me of a friend who inherited some land from his mom in very rural Kentucky - the deed said one marking was from "a tree in the edge of the woods" - which had become close to the center by the time they got a surveyor to figure it out. (Another friend remembered back in West Virginia where he'd grown up, his parents' property line was, as one point, "the middle of a river."

A lot of ancient and even rather modern property descriptions were like this - longitude and latitude weren't used, and till the 18th century, from what I think I heard, one of them couldn't be measured very well. (I get them mixed up, but the one which can be measured by the angle of the sun was done pretty easily many centuries ago. I think that's latitude.)

I'll have to check out this video, if only to enjoy some ancient historical stuff. History is fascinating.

If that much gold was found, would it hurt an economy? I guess not unless it's brought into the economy, but I think of how Spain's was wrecked by all the gold which was brought over from the America's. (ANd a Malian Emperor, Mansa Musa, wrecked Egypt's with all the gold he spent in Egypt in the 1300s on the way to Mecca.)

Doug, regarding the economy - yes, it would have a big effect on the price of gold which would affect the world economies.
They talk briefly about that in the vid.
