Yes, they all apply..... Sadly, the ultra orthodox believe that its their way or you need to be persecuted intimidated coerced to do things their way...
This belief is toxic for other Jews and Christians... Religious zealotry always ends up as tyranny...
The most sad part of all this is that these zealots are so far from God. Reading listening to their leaders trying to teach about God (chabad.org) shows their total cluelessness and delusion, yes great delusion, ignorance of the Bible... Being consumed by required rituals,(( ritual baths, wearing leather bags with scripture inside them)) man made legalisms, they totally ignore the Word of God...
I sometimes send in to Chabad.org a question, and mostly get Biblical or extra Biblical nonsence for answers... For example, I noted a question to them that the Word says to have mindful the Word of God in everything you think or do, but they think it means to tie bags boxes of scriptures around your hand or forehead---- just Because some Jewish leader told them to do this centuries ago!!! Just like the Roman Pope, what these revered elders say is the Word of God rather than the Bible !!!
