We know one of the other issues from the US is the complaint about the treatment of other religions in Jerusalem.

But also the building permit situation in the West Bank.

“We see infinite possibilities in our relationship with Israel,” the senior official told The Post. “We see Israel currently one of our most important allies, certainly in the Middle East. And we see that role becoming global.”

The official gave as an example the meeting that was hosted in Jerusalem in June with national security advisors from Russia and the United States and said that it demonstrated the potential for American-Israeli ties.

The Likud began a campaign on Sunday portraying Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “in another league” from his competition.

As part of the campaign, the party hung massive posters from its 15-story headquarters in Tel Aviv featuring Netanyahu with US President Donald Trump, Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on three sides of the building. A Likud spokeswoman said that there would be no poster on the fourth side “for now.”
