The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

In Christ alone,
Andy

US threatens 'swift and decisive' response to any Iran attack

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday threatened a "swift and decisive" US response to any attack by Iran, in the latest of a series of escalating statements and actions.

"The regime in Tehran should understand that any attacks by them or their proxies of any identity against US interests or citizens will be answered with a swift and decisive US response," Pompeo said in a statement.

Trump urges Iran to talk over nuke program, cannot rule out military action

        https://www.jpost.com/Middle-East/Tr...-action-589292

The problem??? Netanyahu is not into talk. He wouldn't be happy with any deal Pres. Trump could come up with at this point. Netanyahu wants the regime gone. Period.

US official calls Netanyahu’s Iran nuclear warehouse claim ‘somewhat misleading’
First, we have known about this facility for some time, and full of file cabinets and paper, not aluminum tubes for centrifuges
, and second, so far as anyone knows, there is nothing in it that would allow Iran to break out of the JCPOA [the Iran nuclear deal] any faster than it otherwise could

Another anonymous official told the news agency that the US knew about the facility, which he described as a warehouse which housed records and archives from Iran's nuclear program.

        and
UN agency said to visit warehouse where PM says Iran stored nuclear material

Following Netanyahu’s appearance, IAEA head Yukiya Amano said nuclear inspectors had visited “all the sites and locations in Iran which it needed to visit,” while pushing back on the prime minister’s assertion that the organization had failed to act on intelligence provided by Israel on the warehouse.
Diplomats quoted by Reuters Thursday, however, said the IAEA visited the site in Tehran’s Turquzabad district multiple times last month. They said tests were underway on environmental samples taken from the facility in order to determine if nuclear materials were present there. Results will not be ready until June.

If anyone can find the exact verbiage of what the Iranian guy said, please post a link here.
Did he say, "return to uranium enrichment"? Seems I saw that, somewhere.

            Is this it, Andy?

Iran partially withdraws from nuke deal, threatens resumed high-level enrichment

Year after US pullout, Rouhani says Tehran will keep excess uranium and heavy water; will restart high-level uranium enrichment in 60 days if no new terms with remaining partners

              That's it, thank you.
              "RESTART high-level uranium enrichment"
Proving (again) that Israel was right - they were on their way to make nuclear weapons and that all their blathering about their nuclear program being about generating energy?
Lies, lies and more lies - and he just admitted that with that one word.
You can't restart something that you never did.
